If we follow those who subscribe to the doctrine of women wearing veils, then it can be argued that the most often cited verse is 1st Corinth. 11:5, which states: “But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.” According to many of those who believe women ought to wear veils this verse supposedly implies that a woman’s uncovered head is a woman who does not wear a veil. Such a woman is either dishonoring God, their own physical head or her husband for failing to wear it which implies that they are in disobedience. Some have gone so far as to say it is a sin. Another assumption is that the woman being referred to already has long hair and since they conclude that the covering is a veil then it must be referring to an “additional” covering otherwise it would clash with verse 15 stating that God gave women long hair for a covering. Another conclusion is that women ought to be covered ONLY when praying and prophesying and for men to be uncovered, which would make it seem as though it were something that can be placed on or taken off like a veil. You’ve probably noticed by now it takes several assumptions to reach the conclusion that women ought to wear a foreign object on their heads, despite the lack of evidence. * Does the Bible really give a clear command that women should wear a veil? The first thing that everyone must understand when talking about this topic is that it DOES NOT say the word “veil” or “cloth” or any other physical headwear, as far as the KJV is concerned. It surely mentions that the woman’s head should be covered, and no one disputes this, but it does not say that it should be covered with a veil, a shawl, a bonnet, a cap, or any other specific headwear. The verses in question within 1st Corinthians 11 mention the words, cover, covered, uncovered, and covering, but that does not mean we can translate this to mean specifically a veil, a shawl, a bonnet, a cap, or anything else similar. In fact, it would seem more like an adverb rather than a noun. Nevertheless, the word “cover” is unfortunately interpreted by head covering promoters to mean a veil above all other types of headwear, even if there is no evidence to prove that beyond a shadow of a doubt. To do so would mean that one is trying to read more into the verse than what is stated and is not truly seeking an exegesis of the Scriptures. Some have claimed that they are referring to a physical synthetic head covering because the Scriptures seem to indicate that there are two exclusive conditions to wear one and that is when a woman is either praying and/or prophesying. But does this interpretation stand up to logic? If we were to believe that under certain conditions a woman ought to wear a physical head covering, then it stands to reason that under OTHER conditions a woman should be able NOT to wear one. For example, if you are going to argue that a woman ought to wear a veil because the Bible claims there are two conditions, then it is logical to presume that any other condition would ALLOW them to be without one, like speaking in tongues, interpreting tongues, healing the sick, casting out devils, etc. Now if a head covering promoter should claim that there are MORE conditions, then they admit that there aren’t really “two” conditions thereby nullifying the two-condition argument. The reasoning behind why the “two-condition” argument is important for veil promoters is because if these words were actual conditions, then it would seem as though the covering were something that can be placed on or taken off. So even though it does not literally or EXPLICITLY say anything about putting on or taking off a veil. Veil promotors form this belief based on what they believe to be IMPLIED and not by a direct statement. Many people like to believe this because they ASSUME that praying and prophesying are two conditions instead of seeing them as mere examples. * Praying and prophesying were meant to be viewed as examples, not conditions… Now I can understand how someone can mistakenly conclude praying and prophesying as conditions in verse 5, on the surface, but once you read the rest of the verses in context one cannot reach that conclusion. If they were meant to be conditions then why would Paul say in verse 7… “For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.” If the reason for men not to cover their heads in this verse is because he is the “image and glory of God,” then why assume Paul was saying that there were only TWO conditions in verse 4? Wouldn’t 7 override any supposed conditions? Shouldn’t that make you question that perhaps Paul was just giving a couple of examples? But let’s continue. Verses 8 and 9 give us another understanding that Paul must have been referring to praying and prophesying as examples because he adds the order of creation into the mix. “For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man. Neither was the man CREATED for the woman; but the woman for the man.” If Paul states that the creation order has something to do with the reason as to why women ought to cover (in long hair) and men to be uncovered (aka have short hair) then we can conclude that this doctrine must be bound in NATURE. That is to say that it must have taken place since the creation of Adam and Eve and BEFORE the manufacturing of veils or hats, and BEFORE the creation of churches, which is another reason why hair easily fits the mold. This is confirmed when reading verses 13 and 14 when Paul asks you to make an observational judgment that if it is comely (aka pleasant looking) for a woman to pray uncovered (in short hair) and that even NATURE teaches us that a man with long hair is shameful. Why would Paul ask you to think that something as unnatural as a woman without a hat would look off and then say something as natural as long hair would look off on a man? Paul was saying that not being covered in long hair especially while praying looks uncomely and in the same breath he continues and says men with long hair also looks naturally wrong. * So Is the Covering Long Hair or a Veil? ….. If we examine all the verses from verses 4 to 15 without bias, we should at least agree that at certain points the verses are referring to physical heads and hair. Now some have tried to argue that the covering is somehow Jesus or men (some erroneously add husband here as well). But since the passage in 1st Corinthians 11 already states that the man or Jesus are already referred to as the heads one should not mix things up and add that they are the covering especially when this word is referring to something else entirely, Plus it wouldn’t make sense if we were to replace the word covering, covered or uncovered with Jesus, man or husband. So, do the words “covered,” “cover,” “uncovered” and “covering” refer to long and/or short hair or some kind of foreign head covering? Some will even say all the above, but if we carefully examine verse 15 we would be getting a clearer picture of what was being referred to in the earlier verses when it mentions these words. “But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her FOR a covering." KJV So if the covering is long hair, then the words “covered” or “cover” (which are synonymous with “covering”) should be understood as long hair as well. If that’s true, then to be “uncovered” would mean “short hair.” If so, then we can get a better picture of verse 4 when it says that it is shameful or dishonorable for a man to pray or prophesy with his head “covered.” Note the similarity of verse 4 to verse 14 that’s because they are both referring to being covered in LONG hair.

Good message Pastor Joel! The 2 extremes here one being in the flesh (physical), and living or walking in the spirit. (Spirit). Apathy is so prevalent in our churches, lukewarm or faking it. The more we try to walk out our relationship on our own the More lukewarm or fake we become. We need to yield to the Holy Spirit in our relationship with Christ in order to be in a loving relationship with God. The Holy Spirit in us is the power or fire within us to keep us passionately alive in Him. So many good points in chapter three of Revelation! Thank you for digging into the word Pastor.😊

(It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)" We all have those times where we run out of steam so to speak and become discouraged or lack motivation, but like you say we have to predetermine to follow through with what God is calling us to. I have someone I've been working with for awhile who has given up on pursuing justice though we both knew we may not be successful that wasn't the point and i've tried to support them in that but now they are quitting and it's so sad and disappointing but I tried several times to rally them so this message really hits home. The Lord Jesus shouts out orders to his Army.... Joel chapter 2: God’s Army is on the move. Joel 2 describes a great people coming, a great and mighty army filled with the former and the latter rain of Gods Glory, walking in the spirit army. A great & powerful army will spread over the mountains. There has never been anything like it before and there will never be anything like it again. In front of them a fire destroys. In back of them a flame burns. (This is a spiritual view) The land in front of them is like the garden of Eden; the land behind them is like an empty desert. Nothing will escape from them. They look like horses. (This is Joel describing powerful people of God the best way he knows how, using horses as an illustration) and they run like war horses. It is like the noise of chariots, rumbling over the tops of the mountains, like the noise of a roaring fire burning dry stalks. They are like a powerful army lined up for battle. When they see them, nations shake with fear, and everyone’s face becomes pale. They charge like soldiers; they climb over the wall like warriors. they all march straight ahead and do not move off their path. No one is Jealous of others calling. They do not run into each other because each walks in line. They break through all efforts to stop them and keep coming. They run into the city. They run at the wall and climb into the houses, entering through windows like thieves. Before them, earth & sky shake. The sun & the moon become dark, and the stars stop shining. The Lord shouts out orders to his army. The Lord, Jesus shouts out order to his Army. His army is very large! Those who obey him are very strong! The Lord’s day of judging is an overwhelming and terrible day. No one can stand up against it! "Glory Train" 🚆 God started the church age on the day of Pentecost with a former pouring out of his Glory for the sole purpose of multitudes of souls could be saved. Peter was in the upper room that day beat up and broken I'm sure after watching Jesus die on the Cross and then to deny ever knowing Jesus. These people were in fear of losing their own life, five hundred people started out in the upper room but only one hundred and twenty stayed. We are at the end of the church age, many people started this walk with Jesus but few are left, some have died and some have fallen away. But God, he has written it into his plan from the foundations of the world to send the end time church a double portion Glory Rain boost of help. God has never left his people in a corner backed up by the enemy all on their own without sending some major help to save the day. God is in the saving business.... and business is about to be real good. God will pour out the former and the latter Rain of his Glory here at the end of the church age for the sole purpose of the final harvest of souls and then the Rapture will happen. We will leave this world with billions of new souls. Gods not coming for a broke down beat up church. Just like he didn't start the church in their brokenness. Peter hit the streets running after he was hit with that mighty rushing wind and those cloven tongues of fire, Angel Kingdom Armies brought some well needed help. God was just waiting to see who was gonna wait long enough to overcome their fears. God has truly saved the best for last my friend.. Joel chapter 2 tells the end time story of God pouring out his Rain, the Rain of his Glory. God will fill these temples one more time. I call it Pentecost part 2. Hang on just a little bit longer brothers and Sisters. Angel's of Gods heavenly Kingdom Armies have been released and sent for such a time as this. Hang on just a little longer, help is on the way. Merry Christmas Ya'll....2021 Glory 2022... Expectancy is key 🔑 The next big thing is, the coming Glory of God.. End time prophecy is to warn the people of things to come, but in the middle of it all Gods heart ❤ is to see souls saved. We are missing the main point if all we are seeing is gloom and doom in the warnings of end time events. End time events main focus is neither the Antichrist nore tribulation, nore disaster, nore Rapture, the main focus is about the Glory of God that's coming to usher in the final harvest of souls into the Kingdom of God. Focus on what God is focusing on. Jesus is coming for a Gloryfied church without spot, wrinkle or any such thing. The church is not there yet.... Haggai 2: 6- "This is what the LORD Almighty says: `In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. 7- I will shake all nations, and the desired of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,' says the LORD Almighty. 8- `The silver is mine and the gold is mine,' declares the LORD Almighty. 9- `The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,' says the LORD Almighty. `And in this place I will grant peace,' declares the LORD Almighty." Ephesians 5:27 ► That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. "THE GLORY OF GOD" The Bible declares in Numbers 14:21 that all the earth will be filled with the glory of the Lord. No matter what it looks like on planet earth. No matter what the news media may report or how dark the times maybe, you can rest assured that the Bible is true. The last stop on this ‘train track’ is all the earth will be full of the glory of God. Get on the Glory Train... ua-cam.com/video/dcbKqWAkncc/v-deo.html

@@pastorjoelbremer "NO ONE LEFT BEHIND" Have you seen the movie, "Black Hawk Down"? The movie is about a mission to retrieve soldiers out of Somalia when their Black Hawk helicopter is shot down in hostile territory. As I watched this movie, God began to speak to me. I saw a representation of our soldiers doing what they've been trained to do. In the United States Armed Forces, there are many different levels of the command. The same applies to God's army. You are either soldiers in charge of leadership and giving orders, or you are foot soldiers. Either way, one is no more important than the other. Remember, the high-ranking commander was at one time a foot soldier(JESUS). The greatest point is that they must work together as a team! This movie represents the prime example of the spiritual battle in which we fight. The soldiers in the movie were sent directly into the middle of the enemy's camp. Every street was filled with the enemy opposition. The same goes for us as God's soldiers. Everywhere you go, every street you travel in life is full of evil opposition. Our biggest problem is that we've not yet come together as a team. In the beginning of the movie, one soldier is standing in the middle of the street. He was there as a scout. His job was to scope out the enemy's next move. The scout called back on his radio to inform his team that the enemy was on the move. In God's army, we have men and women with the same job. They are always looking into spiritual things and scooping out what the enemy is doing. They will relay it back to the rest of the team. (We can relay messages through the spirit by speaking the Heavenly language. It's a code language that the enemy can't understand. I liken it to the Navajo Indian language we used during World War II.) The scout is usually alone, but will always be wherever his team needs him the most. In a certain part of the movie, the scout is standing alone and eating. He is regrouping after being in the heat of the battle. He makes a statement that people back home are always asking why he does what he does? He says that he could not tell them the truth because they wouldn't believe. His reason is that he does it for the soldiers around him. The team motto is, "No one left behind." If we as God's soldiers would first start acting like soldiers with a "gung-ho" mentality and adopt this motto, we could do some major damage to our enemy. In return, a lot more of our soldiers would be saved. (JOHN 3:16, SAY'S THAT NO ONE SHOULD PERISH) I feel like our casualty level in God's army is way too high. I believe that the number one reason is for this is that eighty percent of our army does not realize that they are soldiers. Furthermore, many who do realize they are God's soldiers are not organized enough as an army of one, We need unity!!! We have soldiers running around that don't even possess a uniform, much less armor. We have soldiers with weapons that have not been trained to use them. There are many who are trained at firing but are not tactical. They shoot anywhere and everywhere, sometimes missing the enemy and killing our own soldiers with 'friendly fire'. If we will re-assess the damage that has been done and look at this war from another angle, we can change the course of the battle. Our soldiers must assure that every Christian understands that we are 'smack dab' in the middle of the greatest war that has ever taken place. IT'S TIME TO GET THAT "SOLDIER MENTALITY." HUUUUUU RAAAAAA!!! In "Black Hawk Down", there were two soldiers awaiting orders to attack. One is standing and the other one on the ground. The one standing said, "Why aren't you firing your weapon soldier?" The soldier replied, "The enemy has not fired upon us yet." Then all of a sudden a bullet zips by his head and then he begins to fire. I'm telling you not only do we have the enemy's bullets zipping by our heads, we have them hitting our body and damaging our spirits. (Eph.6 talks about fiery darts being fired at us by the enemy). It is time for more of God's soldiers to start firing their weapons at the enemy! One of those weapons is prayer. Pray for the oneness and unity of God's army. In the movie, all the soldiers radioed for back up once they were pinned down. We too, as God's soldiers, have our radios: YES, COME IN FATHER GOD, IN THE NAME OF JESUS. WE'VE BEEN PINNED DOWN OVER HERE.WE'VE BEEN HIT. WE ASK YOU TO SEND BACK UP. LET THE FIRE FALL ON OUR ENEMY. OVER AND OUT...The Holy Spirit always relays your message. He is always with you and you have your own personal headset. The problem is that most of our soldiers have never used their headset on and those that do seem not to use them enough. We must realize the intensity of this war. The soldiers that fought the war in Somalia were in a real battle, with real bullets, real danger and real death. The same applies to the Christian soldier. This is not a test and we are no longer in basic training. It's a real war, with a real enemy, with real spiritual bullets and real death. Hell will last forever! How serious is that? Are we going to fight or are we going to die? I say let's fight! HUUUUUU RAAAAAA!!! If you haven't watched the movie "Black Hawk Down", I encourage you to do so. It is a graphic movie, however, it accurately depicts the problems that are faced during warfare. It will inspire you as one of God's soldiers. Watch it with your spiritual eyes and accept the soldier mentality! (THE BOOK OF JUDE SAYS PRAY IN THE HOLY GHOST BUILDING UP YOUR MOST HOLY FAITH.) Build yourself. You're in a war soldier. Don't go back out on the battlefield naked and unprepared. Put your armor on and learn to fire your weapons correctly. Let's not shoot our own soldiers! The fire maybe considered 'friendly', however, it still kills. SOLDIER: TERRY MCREATH OVER AND OUT.... HUUUUUU RAAAAAA!!!! ua-cam.com/video/parv0aMz58w/v-deo.html Joel saw the Lords Last Day Army unified... The former rain of Gods Glory unified the beginning of the church age and it will be the former and the latter poured out together of the rain of Gods Glory that will bring unity to the end of the church age. Joel 2:7-11 7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: 8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. 9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. 10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: 11 And the Lord shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? Unified!!!

I was hoping you'd go into more on the authorities over us. There are varying opinions out there on this subject. I'm praying for God's insight on it rather than just take man's opinions. Thanks Pastor Joel.

I love what it says in Romans 11 about the tree which represents the Jewish faith and Jesus being the root and that we who are not Jewish can be a part of the tree of God's family because of our faith in Jesus Christ and what He did for us on the cross. In verse 29 God's gifts and call are irrevocable. He never takes them back once they are given!! What wonderful assurance we can have of our salvation and the giftings He has given us!! Thank you Lord Jesus!! Thank you for sharing Pastor Joel many blessings be upon you and your family as you faithfully follow our Lord!

Such wonderful truths!! As the word says, Not by might not by power but by my spirit says the Lord!! He gives us the power to live for Him and in His great love He adopts us into His family! Doesn't get much better than that!! :)

I love this part of the study in Romans. It helps set us free from condemnation and guilt when we realize we do have a battle going on in us between the spirit and the flesh. If Paul wrestled with it we know we do also. The hope is we can turn to Christ for help at times of temptation instead of just giving into sin, but we also know we have an advocate with the Father who intercedes for us when we confess and repent of our sins. We are then forgiven, cleansed and set free!! Hallelujah!! Thank you for the study Pastor Joel. Blessings on you and your family. Love you guys!!

Very good points on studying and reading the word of God. I wish I had this knowledge years ago in my walk with the Lord. I think I would be a lot more mature in the Lord and His word by now if I had learned some of these things much sooner. Thank you for giving me a deeper insight and understanding about reading and studying the word. God bless you Pastor Joel. Oh and thanks for the free college courses!! LOL!!

Good study on reading God's word. I see it as our spiritual food without it we are starving for truth. Also it's our compass on how to live and follow our Lord. We can't recognize false teachings or deceptions from the enemy if we aren't in the word to guide us in all truth! I agree wholeheartedly that the Holy Spirit is our teacher, he's the one who gives us understanding and incite. Thank you Pastor Joel!! Blessings. :)
