A-37B Dragonfly flown by Mark Peterson at the Moses Lake WA airshow (Grant County International Airport) on 18 Jun 2022. Grant County International Airport was formerly Larson Air Force Base.
Hermosa
So with the white dot in the window, you kick it once all the day down, then let the starter pedal rise, then push it down two times slightly, then one again to the botton.
I JUST heard of these and they are the purest "motorcycle" on the road. Simple, air cooled, kick start only with compression lever for easy kick starts.
Sounds like it is running really healthy
No one knows how to start these bikes. Y'all are wussies.
Still have one i bought new in 1978 ALWAYS started on first kick In storage for many years Will be back on road soon Very reliable and fun
I love my 1978 SR500 ua-cam.com/video/sreAc4LIzsk/v-deo.html
Hello Rustic51. This was our first Airshow in the A37. I think I know where “Rustic” comes from. You were there. Thanks big time.
It's need to make a Video from starting a SR500 ?
try yourself to start one dude
@@philippep561 I did it many times . Never need a Video!
@@horstd.engart9362 So what are you riding today ?
@@hodaka1000 have several motorbikes , among others a SR500.
Shut up.
Great video. When the bike was idling I could feel the exhaust note in my IPad. That’s realism.
use tripod
Man that was great to watch. Thanks.
Side by side cockpit, makes a nice civilian toy.
Great display. Wonder if it is flown with just internal fuel.
Yes, only internal. Nothing in pylons or tips. Mark limits his airspeed and g load. Throttle doesn’t go full forward during routine.
@@clargay Thanks. The A-37 is a completely different a/c with the external tanks empty. However it is also very strong. We did acro with the externals nearly full the only difference being onset stall buffet occurred sooner. In another life I was a Dragonfly IP/SEFE. Great airshow plane!
What is the paint code for this bike? Thanks.
Looking good. Im the proud owner of a 1983 SR 500 I start mine no choke and compression lever full open and feel for when its ready for the kick
Unless I was showing someone that it has a kick indicator I haven't look at it since soon after getting my first SR in the early 80s Find compression pull in the "decompression" lever and roll it very slightly past top dead centre release the "decompression" lever and kick it
Iv actually found I have to have the decompression lever pulled whilst kicking to start it...@@hodaka1000
Wow! That bike is minty fresh! Museum quality.
