Spend a Productive-ish Day with Me
Heyyyyy my lovely people!!! So sorry about my lack thereof videos. I’ve been recording videos but the editing process takes the longest part. I did have background music butttt it didn’t upload and I’m a bit too lazy to go back and add it…sooo enjoy it ASMR style. In the meantime I will be slowly working on mine and Kyla’s fall break vlogs which I will release sooner hopefully rather than later. Love you guys always and thank you for supporting me!!!

@@yesanidelarosa7244 I know I had like a 1010 for the SAT, and i don’t remember the ACT but I did better on that. I’m a terrible test taker, but all my grades were A’s and B’s along with Dual Enrollment credits!

How are the communal showers?
@@rachelmiaa8823 idk too much about about them, but I’d assume they are like any other type of communal shower. And I believe they get cleaned weekly
for the rising juniors/seniors where would they be staying? Would they have to get an apartment if they want further their education at UNF?
@@rachelmiaa8823 Housing is scarce so they would be in the same things as rising sophomores it all depends on housing contract and just who gets selected. But many students who don’t live on campus get apartments off campus

Hi! I will be a freshmen this fall and was searching for an insurance. I think unf insurance is kinda expensive, so I found iso student health insurance. What can you recommend?

@@Anonymous-pb7go After talking with a few people they said that in general it's like poli. sci. but focusing on interactions between countries instead of inside of them. How they interact economically, how conflicts start, how history and policy has brought them to where they are today and how it shapes their decisions.
It's pretty broad which can be good or bad. You can pick something to focus more on in order to use it effectively. You should pick a region of the world (Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Africa, East Asia, ect.) and learn as much about it as possible, including learning a language from that region.

You can get two degrees when you double major? Does it cost more? How does it work?
@@botchedrivers1852 Yes you would get a degree for each major. And it would cost more because you pay for the credit hours for the classes in both majors.
Where is the link you mentioned to see the professor grade point averages? I’m going to be a freshman in the fall. Also which academic advisor do you recommend, Bright futures is very confusing
Hi i just added the link into my Bio. And I believe that the academic advisors are assigned, rather than chosen :( But my Fall 2023 advisor was Indira Willadsen, she is a first year honors advisor. And I currently have Emily Schwarz for my Education, and Nellie Nakhel for my Psychology. They help me with my degree specific classes!

Do you mean financial aid wise? That can be found on the UNF website! Also for exams it’s typically a scantron much like standardized tests but can also vary from teacher to teacher!

I like it here a lot! I don’t know what campus is like over the summer. But I know there are more engaging events during the fall and spring. I’ve met a lot of people through the unf2028 insta page! Would recommend posting on there, it’s easier to connect with people over social media than irl for those who are more introverted!

Hey I'm having trouble deciding between North Florida and Jacksonville. Did you consider Jacksonville at all or what made you choose North Florida?
JU is a private school and UNF if a public school. With Bright Futures (a Florida Scholarship) it only covers public schools in Florida. So UNF was my best bet!

@@dreamcatcher8401 this is a direct message from my friend who is from Ohio who attends UNF: Personally, I knew I wanted to leave Ohio so going out of state wasn’t a question in my mind. Unf offers out of state tuition waivers which is when you basically pay in state tuition if you have the grades or gpa or test scores to qualify. As for actually living here, I have met so many people that are also from out of state and you just have to be willing to talk to people and do stuff around campus. Obviously, being in a sorority has helped me but even then there are tons of girls not from Florida. The nice thing about unf is that since Florida is so big, there are people from south Florida that are also far from home and kinda get it as well. I say it’s worth it but it also depends on your major and finances

Hii, loved this vlog I am an international student who just applied and I am a bit scared is it safe for a black women or did you face any weird incident?
I was born and raised here in Jacksonville, I believe you just have to know the right areas and good times to go. But other than that UNF is a really accepting school and I haven’t met anyone so far to create problems. Hope that helps!

I’m really liking the school so far! I love the campus, and the teachers are pretty laid depending on who you get. And I love going to school events!
