Friday practice we were making small gains but nothing to write home about, struggling with out right top speed and feeling like i was improving but still not going any faster was a bit dis heartening. Friday night dad and i swapped all the gear over to the spare bike, Saturday warm up instantly faster and feeling a lot better on the bike. A quick chat to the Addicted to Track team, thanks for being so generous and always happy to offer advice and tools. With a spring change, new brake disc's and pads and we headed into qualifying.
Instantly with the new SBS Brake pads and Ng disc the bike was turning a lot better because of the brakes actually slowing me down and loading the front end.
We qualified 17th and finished both races in 14th. Had a awesome battle with youngster Michael Edwards in race one, following him for about the whole race and passing on the exit of the last corner down to the flag and race two a great 5 rider battle for 13th swapping positions many many times and this footage is from that race.
