Campground Review Dardanelle State Park Arkansas
I loved this campground! Lake Dardanelle State Park is located on two sites on the lake, one in Russellville, Arkansas and one in Dardanelle, Arkansas, on the 34,300-acre Lake Dardanelle. Both sites include picnic facilities, boat ramps, pavilions, playgrounds and dump stations.

Thanks for sharing this. I grew up in southwest Kansas and have some great childhood memories camping with my family at Lake Scott. Hiking in the hills, fishing and exploring. This video made me smile

I stayed at a bnb across the road from park. The whole park ins great.
It is I really liked it and wished we could have stayed longer.
How can book a stay? I haven’t found a website. Is it first come first serve?
We called them. Just Googled the number. I think we found one number on a website called Thedyrt and called it. There is a camp attendant on site though. If you show up you can pay the camp attendant. There was no online booking.
Thank you for this video. My wife and I are thinking about taking an RV trip to Dodge City next month in our fifth wheel. Maybe we can luck out and get site 64.....or 62. Again, thank you for this awesome video.
Gunsmoke is likely your best option in the area. Just do not get my site. It was not nice. If you are in the new area you will be fine. Have a great trip!

@@thetravelgoods2760 I had a wonderful time. I am not a super picky person but could always find something good to eat and enjoyed seeing it all. Loved our port days. We are planning on going on another cruise.

@JolleanSmithTravels I really wanted to stay in the Park campground, but it was closed for some reason. That was a fun trip! Three weeks, seven States in the midst of the Covid pandemic scare! Virtually all private concessions in the National Parks were open, but all the government museums and visitor centers shut down! Really loved the trip as most of the annoying people had locked themselves in their homes! Still saw some crazy stuff! A bicyclist riding alone, pedeling uphill at 6000 feet wearing a mask, and a fly fisherman, a thousand feet from the road by himself wearing a mask! Sometimes you just have to laugh!
@@mahbriggs traveling often brings some wild finds! Sounds like a memorable journey. I had no idea there was a state park there. May have to try it the next time we are through!
@@JolleanSmithTravels Not a State Park, but a National Park. It was the only one I encountered that was closed. I intend to visit again soon, long with other regional places!

We lived somewhere where we were fortunate enough to get one white Christmas. It was gorgeous. And being from the south, I thought I handles it pretty well, lol.
I am a Canadian who now lives in MS and I love snow just until Christmas after that I have had enough. Unfortunately, up there the most snow happens from Jan - May. But it was nice to experience before heading home!

I lived in Bozeman, Montana for 4 of the coldest years of my life and I am from north Idaho. Three months of relatives and nine months of snow. 😮 PS: our Alaskan Malamute loved it!
I am from Alberta originally so I get this. Surprisingly my California rescue Chihuahua mix loves it too! The Beagle from MS not so much.
