Origins of The Orville? Seth MacFarlane and Jon Favreau Geeking Out in 2005
Переглядів 1,8 тис.6 років тому
They had a few Iron Man and Ted movies to do before they got there, but on an episode of 'Dinner For Five' in 2005, Seth MacFarlane and Jon Favreau shared a moment of adult geekdom that would come to fruition 12 years later on the set of 'The Orville'. Many roles of actor Armin Shimerman
"Ensign!" - She leaves - "Hey, why are you going I just greeted you!"
So glad Trump won. Armin was the one behind the Trek against Trump effort. And now...Trump has won twice. God bless America!
Which episode is this?
He will always be a legend on my book an rip ❤😢
Beyond legendary
Aside from our beloved human friends, I liked the Vulcans as well. T'Pol changed from an aloof, computer-like Vulcan First Officer/Science Officer who became a less touchy, vulnerable woman that would become Cpt. Of the Endeavour in the later novels. Lt. Saavik also had to deal with compex issues and no doubt became a fine Cpt. a century later due to Spock's assistance.
Loved Data (and Miles O'Brien in "TNG" and "DS9"). The captain and his son weren't bad either. Cpt. Picard was just fine and so were Scotty and Bones. T'Pol and Saavik¹ were my favourite females. Dr. Phlox and Shran were great aliens too. Still pissed off at Riker and Troi for screwing up the end for Trip Tucker.
This is fantastic! i just got into ds9!
The music accompanying this video is too loud

Correct me if I'm wrong, but no actor on Trek has won an Emmy for their work. Art direction, set design, music, and make-up. But not one actor win. Or nomination I can think of. SHAMEFUL. The actors on Trek are just so GOOD!!!
Star Trek is an Irish Conspiracy.
❤ Kira ❤
Spock should have been#1
Irish unification of 2024.. If that happened, that would be mad.. We don't have long left ha
That's so cool he showed up as Quark. I love Quark! My favorite character out of all Star Trek
I didn't realize there was a debate over the best doctor...... Phlox, hands down. McCoy and Bashir for second/third and The Doctor/Crusher can battle it out for bottom.
O’Brien was so much more then what he did on the enterprise. I’d put him up against data and Geordi anytime.
"Im Already Pregnant"...YIKES!!
Most of the right characters. Good descriptions. Wrong order. And on the whole one of the worst pieces of crap I've ever seen.
well, at least it wasn't Hellraiser? ;)
I have a whole new appreciation for Armin Shimmerman after watching this interview. I really didn't care for all the digs Regis and Kathie had at the Quark makeup. I know they didn't know how to react to the makeup but I would've liked to express how impressive the creativity and skill behind creating the makeup than the comments about how repulsive Quark looks. I also used to think Quark looked gross but now view the makeup as a work of art.
Spock is #9? You suck so hard. If Spock is #2 and Kirk is #1 that's OK. Michael Eddington? What the actual fuck? Garak? I do love Garak. But top 10? And No Kirk? You are so very, very wrong.
The makers of "Discovery" should have watched this scene over and over and over and over. Until they took to heart the lesson that oftentimes, "less is more."
Its a pity we didnt see the O Brien Family at the Riker/ Troi Wedding
I like the "Northern Cork" accent.
Absolute Legend. may he RIP
I NEVER BOTICED HIM IN FIRST CONTACT
He can finish his fanfics that quickly? Damn
It is funny to listen to Kathy-lee laugh at everything she says, she really does think she is funny.
This is one of those moment which brings a tear to my eyes. Two men who have been three alot together say goodbye . Not wanting to make a fuss O'brien trys to leave quietly . But his captain has to say goodbye to a great man . Bless you Mr O'brien.
Apparently what sealed the deal for Robert Picardo was that he ended his audition ny improvising the line "And turn off my program before you leave. I'm a doctor, not a lightbulb." 😂😂💝❤️
Bruh....you actually picked Kira, Eddington, and Miles over Quark and the Borg? What about Worf and 7 of 9? Sheeesh!
Haha, Armin wasn't prepared to shake Kathy-Lee's hand.
Quark has got to the best dressed alien i ever seen in any start trek series, such style. When will he be back ?
Found a book that had some girth to it, only about the different names of people and places in Ireland with several different spellings for each 😅
I honestly felt he should have shook his hand, it felt, so cut off without the warm goodbye, like he knew he'd never see him again. Anyone know if these two ever crossed paths again in anything canon?
O’Briens character one of the most loved as he is so loyal n gets on with the job, deserved his bigger role at DS9
WTF Are you talking about??? He had a great role at DS!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@muzcapapillon don’t swear if you can’t read or understand the comment properly. I said he deserved his bigger role at DS9 as one of the main characters compared to Star Trek 🤦🏻♂️
@@newhappiness4410 I read.. " A bigger role at DS9" I accept my mistake!
Miles O'Brien was such a great character.
Wow, sorta like another 'child' leaving the house for bigger things.
Love the thematic transition from TNG to DS9.
Was doing Shakespeare plays. Very taleted actor watch his interviews.
Colm Mealy's paycheck just got a lot bigger
O'Brian was never given his due respect. I would have left without saying goodbye as well.
Picard did this because he knows it technically kills O'Brien and satiates his rage over someone daring to leave his crew.
I transported Colm home on my train a couple of years ago.. I made it so.
Another Picard Employee being kicked off the ship ...... A one minute farewell. lol
Picard looked distraught but proud in equal measure! Somber acceptance!
Ensigns out rank chiefs so why did she call him sir. The mystery of OBrians rank.
Picard: Nobody leaves me! _beams O'Brien into space_
"I never did get the hang of these things"
I know DS9 was darker, but damn. 😂
So that's why Riker never took those promotions 😂
Yeah, like he did with Pulaski (oh wait, no he didn't. I'm getting mixed up with one of those TNG recut videos🤣)
