Soon this video will be deleted and replaced with an identical one but made a little better. The only thing that will change is the fact that the dialogues will be a little slower. Agree. Einstein's past will always be a great moment in HI3's story for me. Although I have to be honest... it's hard for me to choose a favorite part of this Visual Novel... Just like the dialogue says: "that bud never even had a chance to germinate"

I plan to archive "Shattered Swords", as well as everything else about this game, the problem is that I don't know exactly how and when to do it. I tried to check and the situation is complicated. First of all, the Visual Novel is incomplete by itself for years now (I think it stopped at the first act of Chapter 3. Although I read that someone who worked on it had added something to the game files and had expressed the desire to continue it, but it was 1 year ago). Then, from what I know, 3 English translations have been made: one was implemented directly in the Visual Novel, one was written on a Word file found on the official discord and one is from the channel you saw (btw it's youtube.com/@hi3shatteredswords75?si=YvKNYJ2R0k01pePR). But... there are many problems. With all due respect to the translators, the first one doesn't seem up to par, it's not "romantic" and "narrative" enough, it seems more literal and has many spelling mistakes. The second one is on a Word and therefore I should implement it inside the VN and the third one is specific to that channel. Also, each of these is missing something: the first translation is missing the little theaters at the end of the chapter and the first act of part 3, the second translation is missing something else (I honestly don't remember what) and the channel translation is missing some of the characters' personal chapters. Basically, I don't know what to do given the confusion, sooner or later I'll get around to doing something, maybe when there's a down time, but for now I'm focusing on uploading the various mangas and events. Sorry for the wall of text but I've been wanting to make a community post to explain the situation for this Visual Novel for a while. @captainainsophia Yes it is from that channel. The translation from there felt good to me. I didn't know they had characters personal chapters. And this visual novel is completely short unlike the other two. I really hope mihoyo does something and release all of the 3rd chapter on the site. They couldn't have forgotten about it because they referenced it with luocha being otto from there and sushang in similar colour outfit as vn li sushang.

@captainainsophia also for the manga. The official site has a lot missing so I use mangadex for the manga.

@@Elti979 1- The translations there seem well done to me, the problem is that I should integrate them into the Visual Novel program personally, and honestly I don't know how to do it. And then as I was saying that channel lacks the characters' stories. 2- This Visual Novel is not short, it probably should have been as long as the other two but it is incomplete, in the sense that Mihoyo started it, got to the first act of chapter 3 and then stopped writing it; the story does not end in chapter 3, the story does not end at all. 3- On the official Chinese website there are all the chapters, but obviously they are in Chinese 4- They haven't forgotten about it, but maybe they have other priorities and this is too old a thing. 5- I didn't continue Star Rail after the first Luofu but that Luocha cannot be the same Otto. It is certainly a reference to that period of Otto (the name Luocha is equivalent to "Raksha" which is the same way Otto was called in the Visual Novel) and at most it is one of the many "versions of Otto". (Sorry if I'm picky but I never want to create confusion) Despite this, I will upload Shattered Swords to the channel sooner or later... I don't know how, I don't know when, but I will

@@captainainsophia I played up to like chapter 4 like 6 months ago when I first tried out the game, and the recent HI3rd x HSR collab re-ignited the want to play. My current problem is having no clue where to use the HI3 version of stamina, I’ll figure out with Google or something at some point though lol.

@@Atalante241 It's pretty normal. Usually it's recommended to hold out until chapter 9 but I personally think that chapter 7 (or 5) is the turning point. Before that, the story and the characters are still interesting, but it's not clear where it's going and they seem like concepts thrown in randomly. From 7 onwards instead, you notice a clear change and a precise direction. Anyway, the best thing to do at the beginning is to spend it on the story or the chronicles; the more you go into the story the better. That is unless you want to go a little slower and not do it quickly. Apart from that, spend it on the Open World tasks (if you have them unlocked) or the "Material Expedition" LITE, which are always useful.
