Chinese Kun Opera "The Peony Pavillion" 牡丹亭 is a romantic tragicomedy play written by Tang Xianzu, one of the greatest dramatists and writers of the Ming dynasty in 1598. CCC Peking Opera Academy instructor, international renown performer brought this elegant and artistic piece to Capital Region in CCC Peking Opera Academy 2024 mid-term show on Dec 7th.
