How to Fit Contact Lenses - Dr. Zuccaro explains
Thank you! This was really informative and helpful! I just got a large monitor after working years on a laptop. I sensed right away that my eyes were bothered a bit by the brightness of the monitor, and yes, I feel my eyes widening to take in the extra area. I will try using a tablet to the side of the laptop to increase my workspace.
Glad it helped!
Even tho I've complained about dry eyes to my ophthalmologist for years they always suggest OTC drops. This year i reported that the drops aren't helping much anymore. The assistant told me about a new OTC drop. The Dr never recommended further testing. I do have rosacea also. The new drops aren't much more helpful than the old one. Should i have more testing to determine a definite diagnosis? How do i get that done? So i just call the Dr back to tell him? I didn't even know if the technician told him any my complaint.
It sounds like you're dealing with a frustrating situation, and it's important that you don't have to continue suffering in silence. There are ophthalmologists who specialize specifically in dry eye disease, and it’s worth knowing that there are many different causes of dry eye, as well as a wide range of treatment options beyond OTC drops. Given your experience, especially with rosacea, it might be a good idea to have a more in-depth evaluation to determine the root cause of your symptoms. Yes, I would recommend reaching back out to your doctor to let them know the current drops aren't working for you. It’s also perfectly okay to ask if more specific testing can be done, or if a referral to a dry eye specialist might be appropriate. It's important that your doctor is fully aware of your concerns so they can help find a solution tailored to your needs. You're your best advocate when it comes to your health, and there are definitely options that can bring you relief!
Amazing information
I learned a lot from this video! Very informative
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching.
Very informative! I wish I had known all this 5 years ago.
Glad it was helpful!
Great show!
Nice Video
My eye surgeon told me I need a DSAEK/DMEK surgery yesterday, explained there would be an air bubble in my eye afterwards and that I'd have to spend two days lying flat. However, he never said one word about having a corneal transplant, those words he never said. I also need cataract surgery at the same time....Needles to say I am beyond nervous. This video and the comments below have certainly helped me feel better about it. Now I feel fully informed. Many thanks!
Nick you seem like a cool dude
I have an email from Ocusoft customer service stating the,pad should not be used on the inner eyelid. So, Ocusoft, which is it?

I do not use my fingers
Appreciate the video, though would be interested to know what exactly these forever chemicals are, in a more specific sense. Is there a name for the specific material used? Are there alternatives? Who uses them in contact lenses/other products, and who doesn't? Otherwise hard for me to make any informed decisions without said information. Appreciate it regardless!
Also, I can spray the eyes directly? the bottle does not mention that...Also I dont have any swabs- is a piece of toilet paper ok to use?
Please do not spray the eye directly.
Eye doctor recommended using the lid scrubs AFTER using the lid spray....the opposite of what's in this video, which is correct?
I have question may any one help me?
Hard for someone to help you when you're question is about a question that hasn't been said? Can we help you find the UA-cam button? Yes! Can we help you with logarithmic equations? Probably not!

Actually, the glass jar has gone in my mother's AS, I have also got the doctors checked but the doctor did not tell anything, can you help?

Could a broken eye socket cause RP?
The fact that the cornea has no blood vessels suggests that the cells must live a long time. Is that fair to say? I recently had cataract surgery to replace both lenses. The effects were amazing. I didn't know it was possible for the cornea to become cloudy. Does that mean my corneas are as old as I am -73 ? The lenses, apparently, were 73 year old? I guess there were no blood vessels in them either? I recently got something in the mail that suggested the lens can become detached after cataract surgery years earlier and drift around inside the eye. I didn't think that was possible unless the muscles attaching them to the eye were breaking or degrading somehow? I know the surgery replaced the material within the lens capsule and don't disturb the muscles. This is not a hypochondriacal or personal concern. Just a little confused. I thought there was another membrane separating the lens from the aqueous humor - the inner surface behind the part the surgeon removed. ? I didn't know that when the lens was removed the inner eye material - the AH- was actually exposed to the front chamber. Actually it doesn't sound like that's the case. The surgeon only removed the cloudy inner material inside the lens. It still amazes me that an operation that sounds so awful was actually so easy and absolutely painless. .
So there is no need to use a lint-free wipe? You can spray and allow to air dry?
Im a turtle 🐢😂😂 very funny
I dont think hes the kind that eats pizza fights crime and stars in the movies lmao.
dr loss meibomian gland recover again?
why don't you clean your lower eyelid too?
Very nice good information doctor'
This is a little overly dramatic. There is no need to make patients feel more disgusted about these mites than they already like are. I find it unprofessional.
Yellow matter exiting eyes. Collecting in inner corners and on eyelashes.
Plainer words,please.
Interesting. My OccuSoft says to rinse off your eye after you apply it. I use this wipe on my eyebrows, eyelids, and corners of my eyes. I have always washed my face, but WOW!!! OccuSoft is the only thing that has cleared up my crusty eye boogers! They used to be so hard to remove!
Our PLUS Formula is leave-on. Our Original pads do require you to rinse. Thank you for your kind words! We are so happy that our product works for you.
@@OCuSOFTInc Oh okay, I have the original then! Thank you for responding. 💖
So what happens if you don't rinse it off? It's a little unnerving to use something on your eye that needs to be rinsed off.
My Optometrist and Ophthalmologist both recommend use a new plastic contact lens storage case every 30 days to prevent bacteria buildup in the storage case
You only clean the top of the lid not bottom
Dont worry, the eye rolls from videos like this help the glands.
Is it okay to apply on a toothbrush 🪥 and scrub the eyelids and eye cornea? 👁️
That is not advised.
yeah use an electric one to really destroy your eyeballs
Thank you for all this information. You explain very well doc.
