I've always thought it was a bit strange how mechanical metronomes could click so long after one push, I thought you had to re-push the metronome every few minutes. But of course, it's spring loaded.
Hey dude, could you maybe help me? My mechanical metronome isn't working for some reason and I can't figure out why. It makes the clicks so the spring works I guess but it seems to slow down really quick. Does it need to be oiled somewhere or something?
The Main Spring probably needs replacing. If you go to Google, there will be an instructional video explaining disassembly, replacement and reassembly.
I'm 40 seconds in and can tell I'm in the right place. You should do another video. Even if it is literally breaking down a different metronome. I'd watch.
