EDIT: Thank you so much for the video. I followed your example and it works great. Not only do my guys now do their jobs mostly on their own, but the bit about adding sailors to specific officers in the crew-management screen also seems to have cured the need to constantly having to re-assign sailors to my engineers on Diesel-duty. Although I probably have to re-examine my task-priorities as my CO managed to overwork himself into a physical injury (somehow) while I was returning through the Channel from a pretty intense mission BdU threw at me. I *guess* this happened because I had him set with "rest" priority 10 but "calm down" priority of 11 - and my crew was under constant high stress and close to breaking point for over a day. The only instance where I went back to some micro-management was when I was on my return leg from that mission while running on fumes. I literally made it back to port with a few thousand meters of Diesel-range left (IIA-blues) - which only worked because I set both engineers to do engine-management only and ignore all other tasks.

Just started a few days ago too. I did the tutorials - with some difficulty as they can be glitchy - but am ready to go. Browsed through the manual, but confused over crew management. Until now - thank you!

Pretty solid method. I am playing my first play through on normal just to get familiar with game mechanics. Eventually, I will try realistic settings.

You forgot the most important step, what and how do I insert that value. The angles I'm getting on the map don't correlate to the angles of the shooting, since you have both negative and positive values.

What I love about this video is its short and to the point. All these other videos are about 25-45 minutes long. I don't need to know the history of the TDC or your history with the TDC. I don't need to be taken on a long trip while you explain to me why your neighbors dog keeps barking in the background. Love the video. Short and to the point.

is the mod still up to date? i dont think i did anything wrong, but fired off a salvo of 4, and all swung around and steamed towards my uboats stern, i had to crash dive xD September 15th 1939, so i did not have homing torps (if it is a thing, never made it past 1939 XD)

I gave the whole crew a 1 on repairs, so whenever I get damaged everyone gets the ship repaired quickly instead of me just dying immediately. Takes sooo long to pump out water sometimes

Any mod to change harbor innterface? Instead of clicking on NPC, I prefer just harbor menu interface for same actions.

The basic prawn hand is better for DPS against reapers since it does 50 damage per hit while the drill arm does half of that per second minus the amount the reapers move.

Maybe a hull upgrade would be useful lol 😅.
