then as soon as you put your hands over that screen, the app start going to crazy. The paper dosn't avoid the capacitance of a hand.

Or you can skip tracing around the paper (avoiding having to put marks on your quilt), and simply stitch around the freezer paper shape. You can also trace quilting designs onto freezer paper, set your stitch length at 2 and stitch right through the freezer paper. Because your stitches are small in length, the freezer paper tears away easily.

I am new to quilting but did sew garments when my children were small. Of course I watch a ton of videos. I remember washing something when I was newly married and everything came out yellow…My Mom had a good laugh and she explained what happened and helped me recuperate what I could which wasn’t everything. My quilting journey began with pot holders, place mats and pads to protect the table. I tried y hand at a lap quilt that turned out pretty good according to the ladies in my FB group who mentioned that my point were matched up. Went out and purchased fabric (way too much, oh well…) to make a lap quit for my father in law. Of course, Virgo that I am, I would like it to be as perfect as my lack of knowledge in the craft will allow me. I washed the ton of fabric and thank God I had the foresight to wash the red one all bey itself….well I took me 3 color catchers to get that fabric so it won’t bleed. This is the first time for me to wash before quilting. Its work, yes but had I just went along and sewed all that beautiful fabric….what a messI would have had. Lesson learned, color catchers have a place in my quilting box and unless I am sewing in very pale fabric….I am going to pre-wash! I know all you pros will think I’m crazy but maybe this may help someone new like me.

I tried this, and it worked-if I scrub the daylights out of it for half an hour. And then I discovered-as one commentator mentioned below-that dryer sheets work. I tried that and it was magic: One dryer sheet and about 15 seconds. Clean as a whistle.

That is a long arm machine. More fabric is going to fit on the right hand side but if you have a regular sewing machine, not a long arm, then you basically have to roll up your foot on the right and then struggle to get it through and have room for your right hand.. What’s suggestions do any of you have for that situation because I’m just learning and this is a hurdle I’m trying to get over.

I just now needed to add a zipper to a previously constructed tote bag. Had no clue how to do it. Watched several (confusing) videos and was just about to give it up when I watched yours. Cannot tell you how absolutely thrilled I am with it. I made the zipper panel and it fits perfectly. Bag looks fantastic!! Thank you so VERY much!!

Adhesive remover pads work real well too, but you have to let the iron cool, and then wipe your iron down with a warm wet rag after
