I know there are cards in later games that constantly reveal the hand and flip the deck upside down to see what cards they get. Could codes be made that trick the AI into thinking the player can see their cards without actually revealing them in order to stop the AI from cheating? Or at least to see if the cheating becomes obvious or changes with these?

I genuinely forgot to save and while I know that MGS1 likes to fuck with the 4th wall- but the fact they acknowledge it somehow makes it worse. BUT I ACTUALLY FAILED AND HAVE TO GO ALL THE WAY BACK

I suppose the cheating is to make up for the difficulties in creating an AI capable of understanding how to play hundreds and later thousands of cards.

I think it weird how they did that. FF7 just put "turn off death handling" in the AI script, and included a death status counter script.

It seems that some enemies gets proximity damage an maybe for example those can only take one type of damage at a time. Would need to analyze how this weapon works from code point of view.
