I don't usually comment, but this video is one of the most relatable ones I have come across. I am a 1st-year med student who failed the first term 8 weeks after starting med school. As a result, I cannot continue the year and have to restart next year; there is a lot more to it, but this is the basic gist. It was terribly heartbreaking because I spent 3 years trying to get in and went through so many rejections and a lot of personal trauma outside of all this, too. What made it worse was that I did well in every aspect and gave my 100% throughout. It was horrible to see people get through without putting in that much effort, and I could not get through after putting in a lot of hard work; I am happy for those who passed, but it's just that I do not know what I missed out on. Plus, being an international student, it was tough because I had to stay alone and manage myself; I had some issues with certain people when I did not even start anything with anyone; things just got messy. My parents did not receive the news well and gave me a lot of issues; my friends also felt that I was overreacting and that I should be grateful for what I had. It was tough because no one ever understood how it felt. The thought of restarting and watching people I started with progress ahead of time is so hard. Another thing is I felt so shameful for how I was after all this because I wasn't myself and felt like a failure. I want to prove to myself that I am better than all of this, and I wouldn't say I like this one incident to define this one year or my entire medical journey...

My main advice would be to look after your health and well being and don’t stress it which I’m sure you are better at than me , OSCEs are a very artificial examination method, they had us taking blood from a mannequin and trying to pretend it’s a person. Some people are not built for that while others are good at that.

So sorry to hear that! As someone who finds the written exams a lot easier than OSCEs, I can relate to the stress over them. OSCEs are just playing the game in my experience, so fingers crossed for this year. As I am sure you know OSCEs dont reflect real life ability/ Best of luck man!

I don’t understand the rationale to make you repeat everything. Seems wasteful and psychologically cruel.

Same thing happened to my mate. Found out he failed the day before we flew out to elective. He came anyway cos everything was paid and he just had a holiday 😂

Honestly where have we got to where we drink food instead of making proper food. This is NOT food, it’s shit.

Feel like it only adds to the plastic pollution problem.. I imagined more of a grocery delivery service. You know, fresh things arriving in a paper bag. They add sauces for the recipe in plastic packets and the produce is hit or miss. However 2 meals a week for 2 people equates to 4 dinners for a single person. 4 meals for like $60. Not bad. You can opt for vegetarian which is nice.. and they also have low carb meals. Like I said it’s hit and miss ingredients wise but the recipes are pretty amazing. The amount of calories listed I feel are on the high side of what you actually get. The portions are smaller than what they once were but this is a good thing because you finish your plate and don’t feel sick or overtired

The only downside in my opinion is that Canola Oil is the 5th ingredient, which is so frustrating. Why meticulously craft an impressively healthy shake and then ruin it with one of the worst most inflammatory oils you can consume? It's really mind boggling and I'd be curious to know what canola oil does for the shake (preservative wise) that makes it a must add ingredient for Huel

Wait a minute. Before you jump into the very, very, very mad basket, "What did the company say when you contacted them regarding the red pepper." OR did you not bother to contact them. Lastly, a clove of garlic should last you three weeks if you use it every day.

use bottled mineral water, much nicer. tap water is gross.

I started both Mounjaro and Huel Black on May 10th of this year, and I lost 15 pounds in 4 weeks. I ONLY “eat” Huel. Nothing else. It’s now 6 weeks, and I’m still only drinking Huel. I have either two 600 of three 400 calorie shakes per day, and daily greens. I’m sure I would love Huel even if I wasn’t on Mounjaro, but I doubt I would be able to ONLY have Huel. The medication allows me to feel full. I’ve never had Huel while not being on Mounjaro. Six weeks- only Huel Black, and Huel Daily Greens- I love 💕 it!! I drink it with unsweetened vanilla😢 almond milk. I love banana and vanilla. Have to be in the mood for chocolate and strawberry.

I have allergies and I would like to see what is available before I pay. I feel this is a bit of a con. When you go to the supermarket they don’t charge you before you decide what you want to buy. This has really put me off trying it out. Does anyone have any ideas on this or am I doing something wrong. I have read that they change the meals, I find that odd that all the meals each week change. I can understand adding new recipes but not all the recipes. Please could someone give me any suggestions. Thank you for the review of this service. Value is very important to me. I am in the US and it is cheaper to make food at home with recipes available online.

Honestly, if you want to eat more for less. I recommend learning how to cook soups, they are easy to make and you give your body the water it needs and all flavors get preserved, to eat it for later, all you need to do is store it in a fridge which could last for more than a week based on what you've cooked or consume your soup within the next day :)

If you want to have as little lump as possible, add powder to water, instead of adding water to powder can really help.

I find adding an ice cube helps make the drink smoother

I tried it and it wasn't bad. A lot of their menu are combinations I'd never go with usually though. Still it was nice to try new things and as a first time buying I got an incredible deal. I also found the portion sizes to be too small though. Don't think I'll try it again but the experience was pretty cool.
