Hi Vivienne ... Its just made using a buttonhole loop technique .... alternatively you could cast on 4 sts. cast off and then stitch the small loop in place each side of the coat. but the neatest way is to use a buttonhole loop. Hi Phyllis Yes the quality of the videos are not good ... I was taking the video on my phone, with a tripod ... I would need to invest in some sort of contraption that holds the camera overhead .. glad that at least you got some ideas from the video. Elaine

Glad to hear you love my dolls :) I enjoy making them. The Hulk and Thunderbirds are good ideas, I will put them on my list .... Time is my problem ... knitting is just a hobby.

It must be this part that is giving her the trouble ** Row 23: K2tog, K10, K2tog. - 8 sts Row 24: Purl ** Rows 23 - 24: Repeat from ** to ** until there are 4 sts left on the needle. Next Row: Purl Cast off Once she gets to rows 23 & 24 ---- Just keep repeating rows 23 & 24 until there are 4 sts. on the needle ... Then cast off ... I'll look at the wording of those rows ...

Theyve recently been interviewed by the BBC, as theu had created a design for the Lionesses for the world cup and one of the goalkeepers is from our local town and went to see it!! @@ecdesignsknittedtoys can I just check...on Row 23 - K2tog, K10, K2tog - 8 Wouldnt that actually equate to 12 stitches and not 8? As in K2tog=1, add the K10 =11, then finally K2tog =1...which in total is 12 rather than 8? Sorry Elaine.

Hi Therese, Glad you found it helpful, I talk an awful lot in some of these videos. I made quite a few of these videos during the covid lockdown and I think I was lonely :) But glad you found something useful in it :)

@@ecdesignsknittedtoys don’t be daft, it’s lovely to have a bit of chat and little comments on how things took shape. That’s real life isn’t it, a bit of chat. My Bob Marley is looking good now, I did a whispy beard but it wasn’t great so I took it out but I love him and so does my son who will be getting him in the post! And I tightened up Ozzys neck so he good, well as well as I could get him. I will ordering more patterns very soon. Cheers x

Hi Ellen, If you need advice my email is on the pattern. I haven't had any complaints about the cape ... Some knitters thought it was too short and asked advice how to make it longer. If you go to the knitters gallery on my website you will see a variety of King Charles Figures all made from this pattern.
