You can always tell who are the real railfans! 4449 left Chicago 8/2/2009 via the ex MILW line. There were 60 or so people where I was. All but a dozen were crowded at a suburban station. I was among the dozen who formed a photo line. Since several had video cameras we stayed quiet. All of us got great shots with no one in the way.

Awesome! Especially with the meet bewteen a UP Manifest w/Ferromex power and the historic excursion train with SP 4449 and UP 844 at the RR crossing north of the Vancouver Amtrak Station.

It is both as a matter of fact. Can be operated in either mode.

That is awesome footage. This & 261 are in my top 3. I live near LA on ex-Santa Fe tracks (soon to be Gold Line 3rd phase west side extension. 3751 is my #1.
