Hello, I welcome all who have clicked on the channel info.
On our channel we publish recordings from our rehearsal room in sporadic intervals.
We play mostly blues music from the beginnings of this genre to modern contemporary blues arrangements. In addition we play some rock song covers from the "Doors" and "Cannet Heat".
Because I couldn't fit some of my improvisations into our usual blues repertoire, I collected them in an extra playlist called "P.W.G. : Improvisations".
Other pieces that we recorded in the absence of our harmonica player can be found in the playlist: "F.B.D.", which means "Förde Blues Duo".
In the text section of each video we also describe the equipment we use. This goes from the vintage basses of our deep tone specialist to my collection of semi-acoustic guitars to the sometimes amazingly affordable, yet professional equipment of our harmonica player. If anyone has any questions about this, go ahead!

Förde Blues Orchester: "Caldonia"
Today we're playing “Caldonia”, a jump blues song by Louis Jordan and his Tympany Five. The song was released by Decca in 1945. On the cover of the single, Jordan's then wife Fleecie Moore is credited as the author, but it is likely that Jordan wrote the song himself. Well-known blues artists such as Pinetop Perkins, Memphis Slim, Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown, Muddy Waters and B. B. King as well as Willie Nelson, Wynton Marsalis, Van Morrison, Woody Herman, James Brown and Bill Haley recorded the song. Have Fun!

Hi Mark, I wanted to try out a smaller amp, the Harley Benton Head 15 sounds quite good, but a really clean sound is not possible at the required volume. But the Peavey remains my preferred amp. 🔈🔉🔊

Sick!!!! Add some effect to the vocals like reverb or echo. Sounds a bit too clear. Other than that you guys rock! It’s got that slow jazzy vibe that the doors had. Keep rocking!
First of all, thanks for the compliments! True, sounds pretty clear, but in our small Behringer mixer must use an effect setting for all channels. There you have to compromise! But thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for the assessment, I think I will use the "Ricky" 🎸 now and then. The Peavey amp is widely underrated, I prefer it to my "Fender" and "VHT" amps.
