The Dad in the episode just makes me feel so grateful and blessed that my Dad never bailed on me or my mom (like my older siblings' dad did them). Even when my parents got a divorce, I was 13/14, my Dad was still around 70-90% of the time. And the other 10-30% was him being at work, his own home and living/rebuilding his life. Although he respected their divorce, it felt like they werent divorced bc he didnt leave away from me, not even my mom💕
Ohh how I love the 3 sisters met each other. I have 4 sisters and we feel each other heartbeat there hurts, there happiness and the children so beautiful, big close family 1 older brother ❤
Lovely the story of the sisters. Who knows if there are even more siblings out there. The two full sisters were born in 1940 and 1943. I'd check records of '41,' 42 and even '44 just in case.
The sisters 👯♀️ were wonderful. They meeting each other was absolutely perfect. It’s like they always knew each other. Now they have someone to call sister twice. The one who felt hunger, it’s sad but she remains jolly, how wonderful is that. Valerie is spunky. And the one who started the search had no idea it would be 3 sisters that look alike so much.
This story is a reminder that not too long ago mothers were giving up their illegitimate children. It was hard to marry or work with a bad reputation. People often had babies in secret and gave them awsy.
Dont believe Sheila for a minute. She left her baby on an island filled with Nazis? Of course, she met someone else and ran off with him as she had another baby soon after. Forget about your child and dump her with your elderly mother during war....nice lady. No wonder she "drew a blank" whenever her younger daughter talked about her.
So this man just did not contact his daughter for 20 years? Even if he didn't have the money to go back to the UK, write a letter or make a phone call. How is it that you have your DNA just out there and didn't think to find her? I have so much resentment towards fathers like this. I am sorry.
Oh my, the three sisters! They are the missing pieces that fit together perfectly! I'm so happy that this young lady was able to meet her father and have her relationship with him restored.
All the way to Texas! I am glad they found him, and she is so forgiving. Many, many children were and are left behind. It is a disgrace. Vietnam, Korea, especially rhe WWII. They traveled through England, Paris, etc. Then, there are the so-called other wars. More children left behind. Right. Now there is the internet and DNA. No excuses now! I am now 70 and I don't forget. My three sons have a half Korean brother out there somewhere. At least that is what he said. He did make sure the boy was adopted by a military family while he was there. He was still married at the time; I think he said. He already had three little boys. He said he managed to get the girl married off to another Army guy to get her in to the USA. I don't think that worked out so well. I made sure my sons knew about it. They already had three half-brothers from his first wife that they eventually met. I will stay in the South where I belong. He was 13 years older than me, and I was so stupid. LOL. But, as they say, there are no mistakes as I wouldn't have my three great sons today. My oldest 42, keeps in touch with one of his older half-brothers, I think. There is FB. We are in the South, the other brothers in the North. LOL.
the 3 sisters meeting was so amazing, and I had thought they had similar sense of humor, and I was right! Naomi's father of , tho... talk about lazy. He said he had a choice to make, okay, I get that, but he makes seem like post offices don't exist. He knew where she lived, he could have sent letters. But well, good for her to get what she wanted, I just hope he doesn't leave her again.
Thank you Niki and divina you are god sent to pick the pieces of a broken love and make it as whole again thank you you are god sent continue and god bless you as always
I really dont get the whole deal about finding half relatives. I discovered early in my life I had a half brother and sister, and recently discovered I have like 8 half cousins and two half uncles and to me its like what I said to my brother and father when I found out, are you still my brother, well that's all I had to worry about. half is still just as cool and their still my relative and share my DNA.
Not sure why, but if you visit places families typically frequent here in the USA, you will frequently see black women or white women with mixed race children, alone. You very seldom see it among other minorities such as Asians or Hispanics. You more often see those children with both parents.
I’m not a fan of the Dad in this episode. He disappeared, essentially changed his name to avoid being found, didn’t provide support - financially or otherwise - didn’t send letters or cards, didn’t reach out after the creation via social media, NOTHING!!!!!!!!!! He doesn’t seem remorseful at all. He seems practiced and staged. Just yuck all the way around and a beautiful young mother that deserves sooooooo much more.
Is there anyone there can tell me the official link to this official web of this show? I cant find. Thanks
Love , love, love this show. It always makes me feel better ❤
The 3 old Ladies are so sweet, I love them. The 3 golden girls. <3

Wonderful ❤
those sisters they seemed like a fun people,. im sure they will have a blast!!
I'm so ignorant .but why couldn't she stay on the island
I wish I have a father he is a live. But he never love me
I think parents who adopted are angels
Vanderee doesn’t deserve her. She has every right to be angry. Thinking about someone and not doing anything for them is nothing but selfish.
Actions have consequences. We all pay our dues either here and now or later. God gets us all when we die. We pay in this life or the next.
This story is a reminder that not too long ago mothers were giving up their illegitimate children. It was hard to marry or work with a bad reputation. People often had babies in secret and gave them awsy.
Naomi forget about your dad .. he's a deadbeat who moved away from you and changed his name. He did not want to be found. Selfish, selfish, selfish.
How can so many people not how to spell bawl? You BAWL your eyes out. Not ball.
I would pay money to know the life story of Cherry's mother. She looked quite a rascal in the pictures with Cherry.
I don't find that dad to be genuine at all. I think he just got "found out".
He didn't have time for cards, letters or a phone call?!! No excuses
Its funny how the presenters make a point of repeatedly saying half and full sister 🙄, while Val and Cherry only happily say "I have two sisters" 😊
Unfortunately, leaving is something men do on a regular basis. There IS no excuse.
So Daisy was a good time girl having babies and abandoning them...and didn't even have the morality to Cherie the truth before she died

that dad is so scripted, controlling, sus, and pretentious. Even Nicky (the host) can sense that.

What a crock of sh>t Naomi's "father" is ... shame on him.
I wonder if that late granny with a cigarette in her mouth knew anything about contraception at that time...?
What contraception? It was the 1940s

"Even now, I could still feel the hunger"😢
I love how happy Cherie is about finding her family. Tears of joy.

They remind me of The Golden Girls.
What a lame excuse of the father for not looking for his daughter! He should be ashamed!
That's what I like about this show they don't stop just finding the one if there's somebody else out there they find them too they go the extra mile
Sweet Blessings.
This people what they do is the best and great work in the world. Changing people life’s like this is amazing 😩😩😩😩💝💝💝💝♥️🎂
I wonder if her father kept his promise to stay in touch and have a relationship with her.
