A courageous move and lovely offering. We made our move after retirement, and it has taken me a long time to heal from the toxic environment which you left much earlier.
Beautiful videoxxxThank you for sharing...lovely❤❤❤
Thank you, Marissa! I'm so happy you enjoyed it.
I’m definitely going to make some of those match holders! Thanks for this video, Julia!
I'm so excited for you! Those match holders are crowd-pleasers. Thank you for watching!
A lovely peaceful video ! I like the idea of zero waste especially from the perspective of saving money. 😊 I make my breadcrumbs and reuse cardboard boxes for shoe and clothes drawer organizers !
I couldn't agree more. I am always amazed by how much money I save when I apply the zero-waste mindset. There are so many alternate uses for items that are still functional and beautiful, even after their first purpose has passed. Thank you for watching. ❤
Thank you, Julia! So inspiring! I have botanical room sprays in almost every room of the house. I totally want to make my own now!
Thank you, Jean! I'm so happy you enjoyed it.
Great video with great tips!!!!
Thank you I will try it
Just seeing you for the first time. Everything is lovely 🌿🕊️
Thank you! I am so glad you're here. Welcome!
💜💜
Nice vid can you share the recipe for the room spray?
Thank you for watching! I hope you enjoy crafting your own natural room spray. Here is the recipe: afarmtokeep.com/natural-room-spray/
Great tips! I never buy ziplock bags because I reuse the bags from my cereal boxes. I just shake them out fill with whatever I want to store!
What a clever idea! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for your video. I will share it with my daughter
You're welcome! I hope it is helpful.
Your voice is so calming! We want to make it to the beach sometime with our family.
Thank you for watching and for your kind comment. 🥰!
I love the kittens, they are so cute! It is so important to remember that there are comfort in small things.
Thank you! I agree; sewing always helps to slow things down and can be such a calming experience.
What a great idea to reuse old spray bottles, and I never thought of infusing my rosemary to make a cleaner. I love this idea!
Thank you for watching! Yes, have fun infusing your vinegar with herbs for a touch of botanical goodness to your household cleaners. Enjoy!
i very much enjoyed your video:) I would like to make a comfort kitty but was not able to find the pattern in the description box.
Oh-no! I am so sorry that the blog post wasn't linked. Thank you for letting me know. Here's the direct link with the steps and free pattern. afarmtokeep.com/make-a-plushie-comfort-cat-instructions-free-pattern/ Thank you for watching!
Just found your beautiful channel.. I love everything 🌺
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. Thank you so much for the kind comment. I hope you continue to find inspiration in this space.
I love that!! Creating is so important.
It so is. Thank you for watching.
Super cool tree! The one that sheds.
Thanks for watching. Manzanita trees are so beautiful.
if I were to make these to sell, do you know how long their shelf life is? Thank you
That's a great question. This recipe usually lasts 10-14 days. Longer if kept in the refrigerator.
Such a lovely video, you’re thoughts really resonated with me. 🌿
Thank you so much for watching and for commenting. Here's to always knowing your worth. <3 Be well.
I started yarrow this year. Beautiful flowers! Love the thoughts you shared here.
Thank you!
Great thoughts. Even as a homeschooling, homestead(ish) family, keeping a slow schedule can be tough. We limit sports to have an off season. Even with that, I’d prefer an even slower pace. It’s just hard to achieve with a houseful of active littles!
Absolutely! It's quite a challenge to keep things at a slower pace. We definitely have busier seasons as well. Scheduling in those down days has been so important.
I wash my hair about as often as you, I’ve found it’s wavier & less dry than before ❤
That's great to hear! It seems the less washing keeps hair so much happier.
@@afarmtokeep I know right!? Who would have thought haha
Ooohhh... gonna try that! Loved the walk. It was like taking one with you :)
Thank you. It's always lovely to take a walk in the woods near us. Glad you could "join" me.
Ooh! I love rosemary. I may have to try this!!
Please let me know how it goes if you do!
I'm looking forward to more of this type of content!
I’ve never heard of this. Neat!
It’s such a wonderful way to use an abundance of herbs that results in such a gentle, yet potent, herbal product. There are so many herbs that transform into amazing hydrosols including rosemary, damask rose, lavendar, and lemon balm. I hope you give it a try and find delightful results.
It was so great to come on ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for joining me!
Great interview ❤
Thank you for listening!
Love these and plan to make soon. Thank you
These are adorable! Thanks for sharing
Just found your channel through this interview with Anja. I’m taking up sourdough and bread making as a new hobby so I’ve been learning a lot on UA-cam. I so appreciate all that you are doing to encourage a more sustainable healthy lifestyle!
Welcome! I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed the interview. Anja and I had so much fun talking with each other about her sourdough method.
I came across Anja's videos a few days ago and I can't tell you how grateful I am for her willing to share her knowledge and methods. I'm also a no measurement, no nonsense kind of person and all the videos I watched previous to hers had me overwhelmed (measurements/scales/feeding/discard etc). I wasn't able to find organic buttermilk near me but I easily found organic cultured kefir, so I will attempt my first sourdough starter with that. Fingers crossed 😊
That's so exciting! I am so happy that you have found Anja's work. She's an excellent teacher.
Onion Greens Ferment ■ being given a trash bag of pulled up and blooming onions, I sliced the green excess tops into thin rings and added a cool brime to stoneware jar up to about 10 days; the flowers and a few white onion stem cuttings give the mix a great texture. Drying was a choice, but fermentation made the source ready for most meals. Looks good and taste great. I planted the large onions trimmed as seedlings and new green tops are rapidly growing.
It was such a delight talking with you, Julia! Thanks so much for having me :)
What a delightful interview, and such great information!
It was such a pleasure to chat with you, Julia!!
Currently sipping this delicious tea for my sore throat. Thanks for sharing it Julia. ❤
I'm so glad this recipe was supportive. I hope you are feeling better.
Hi Julia! It’s Becky from Sovereign Soul Soapery. I’m definitely making these. Thanks for all the wonderful ideas/projects you share with us! ❤
You are so welcome!
