I couldnt beat the ultimate mood in career mode and was becoming extremely frustrating for me so i started timed finishing everything even the headers and now i am winning every match with 6 plus goals.i can win every match now even with a bad team.

Has not aged well....... currently the AI defender spammed by R! will sprint over and maybe even make the tackle.

The problem is offline I can time my shots. online due to ping, I just can't. So practising offline is bs. Also, tried the bar indicator on top but you can't use that in champs for some reason. why? u can use other trainer options. ffs.

My player lock turns on sometimes when I do a skill move with the RS and accidentally push in. And I know for sure that I’m not clicking in the LS at the same time. Is that normal? Is something wrong with my settings?

the swarming can get annoying 7/10 you will get out of it but when you don’t and concede it is so frustrating

The most stupid thing about this game is that it's the only online multiplayer game where you need high end internet to have the best chance to play it properly and even then gameplay can feel disgusting at times. I played at a friends house last weekend and he is on like 44 ping. After that I thought if I ever had to play on that latency constantly I would stop playing the game for good, it's a completely different game.

The problem is EA are terrible in their foresight. Let me explain. Whatever the state of the game when we starts off at the beginning,when we first get it in September, inevitably changes every few weeks due to player upgrades. But EA seems to think what we get at the start will work in the future. But here's the problem, even if the game is in a decent place at the begging (which was not the case this year) the faster, more agile, more advanced players will mean the speed of what happens on pitch changes. Things become more congested when players become faster and more AI advanced and anticipate moves much faster as better versions are introduced. The faster these changes, the more rapidly the action on the pitch changes. This is why this game is played on the sidelines. That's where you can get some room as you half the number of opponents coming at you. Here's how it might be solved. The game needs to start much slower at the beginning and it will naturally speed up with improved player stats. But the game speed is fast and congested from the start and gets even faster and more congested until it's just ping pong with the AI deciding the probability of losing and winning.

Yeah, it seems all my opponents are doing are pressing my back line/midfield. Attackers have all become Maldini it’s crazy when they never should be capable of such pressing. That and good defenders need to retain the ball after tackles more, it’s crazy how often tackles aren’t really “sealed” or possession based/end up immediately back to the opponent. And yes! 100% on the arcadey-ness is imo the style. as someone who started in Fifa 13 after watching KSI throughout fifa 12, there was always a way to have fun and it didn’t feel like the games you would always win. Now EAFC just feels dead, and not entertaining. I did like the trivela because if your opponent was just trying to defend with AI or drop back, you could defend against it. It was overpowered, but maybe the nerf didn’t need to be as heavy as it was. I can still score long shots with players that have the stats in space, or finesse shots (usually better/more consistent), but green timed shots are getting saved, blocked, missing. All that to say, if they improved the attacking side of the game (like passing/movement), maybe address the sort of OP’ness of the cutback buff to the defensive AI/blocking, I think there could be a lot of improvement to the gameplay I was at least enjoying the game a lot during the patch that they nerfed the 71 depth/midfield congestion. But now it feels like such a drag, especially trying to do the FS academy evos.

One problem is that ppl use balanced/direct passing no matter their formation, playstyle and players. If you, for example, want to play longballs you need the right players and tactics that goes with that particular style of play. I feel that most ppl think that meta is meta and I have to go b/dp, x, y and z, instead of adapting to change. Hemp, for example, with her speed and her playstyles, is meant to be used accordingly. Not in a clogged midfield using balanced and direct passing. And, yes, I know, it's a s**** ratty game. Surprize your opponent. Peace!

Back to 71+ depth or the midfield is lost. This game is a total mess.

Nah, I do not think so, it is still better than that drag back merchant version… has multiple games my yedder drag back in the box for 4 or 5 times to score, the opponents do the same thing over and over…

all of this is good. but i need to know WTF happened to my players over the past few days that they started falling down after i make a great tackle on the ball.

I feel selecting your defenders to block shots should be rewarded.. AI autoblock on non selected defenders is too OP. If the oponent selected it, then I don't mind that effectiveness. But not when the CB wasnt even selected and block everything..

Hey mike I play fc 24 on the old gen and yes the trivelas has been nerfed like it no where the effectiveness it had before. It is kind of a little bit better with the ones that have the trivela but no where near as it was but one thing I have seen is that the trivelas still work near enough as good as it was when shooting the trivela while holding r1 and even more so with the ones that havee the finesse shot playstyle.

Just keepin' folks in the loop - 1 major concern with this is "Long Shooting" if we don't have a way to score consistently from outside the box that can cause real long term issues with gameplay balance. Though, Trievelas have been too overpowered imo #StayBeautiful
