The Last Tsar's Children: Tsarevich Alexei Nikolaevich
#romanovs #royalhistory #tsarevichalexei
In Today's video we will talk about the short life of the Last Tsarevich's life.
(12 August 1904 - 17 July 1918) was the last Tsesarevich (heir apparent to the throne of the Russian Empire). He was the youngest child and only son of Emperor Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna. He was born with haemophilia, which his parents tried treating with the methods of peasant faith healer Grigori Rasputin. After the February Revolution of 1917, the Romanovs were sent into internal exile in Tobolsk, Siberia. After the October Revolution, the family was initially to be tried in a court of law, before the intensification of the Russian Civil War made execution increasingly favorable in the eyes of the Soviet government. With White Army soldiers rapidly approaching, the Ural Regional Soviet ordered the murder of Alexei, the rest of his family, and four remaining retainers on 17 July 1918.
Rumors persisted for decades that Alexei had escaped his execution, with multiple impostors claiming his identity. Alexei's remains, along with those of his sister Maria (or Anastasia), were ultimately discovered in a secondary grave near the rest of the Romanov family in 2007. On 17 July 1998, the 80th anniversary of their execution, Alexei's parents, three of his sisters, and the four retainers, were formally interred in the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul, while Alexei's and Maria's (or Anastasia's) bones remain in Russian state archives. The Romanov family was canonized as passion bearers by the Russian Orthodox Church in 2000.
Alexei is sometimes known to Russian legitimists as Alexei II after his ancestor Alexis of Russia, as until his death they do not recognize the abdication of his father in favor of his uncle Grand Duke Michael as lawful.

Look at how much the war aged him between 55 and 60 or 1915 to 1920.
One can wish he were never born along with Bismark but people like that seem to live long lives more often than not
Bismarck's story is crazy though
I have a friend who took a DNA test and found out he’s loosely related to Wilhelm
Princess Alice passed juat a few months before the wedding 💍 💒 of Charles and Diana
Maria was the Carrier,not Anastasia
I remember everything
This is also known as Hadji Wilhelm , he turned to Muslim, because he was the partner of Enver Pasha. Also he has fountain in Istanbul, Turkey. He loves the Ottoman Empire.
He was born as a King and died as a peasant exiled in the Netherlands
Magnificent mustache
He looks So Serious In every Photo. He never Really Smiled
I’m part royalty just because of Wilhelm II my dads side
I'm not gay, but at 40 my guy was f*cking majestic 😂

Queen Victoria wrote about a young Wilhelm in her diary, stating "he is a good little boy." When WWI broke out, Wilhelm said "if our grandmother were alive, she never would have allowed it."
That's the truth meaningless wars see not worth it
Only peace is worth it And everyone says kaiser Wilhelm did everything even though it was Austria 😢😢
Mean, families fighting families 😔

Funny how the monarchies of Russia and Germany were overthrown for “freedom” And instead they got 50 years of suffering
And there were SO Many Chances where the Monarchs could of been Restored to Power which Never happened
People say Nicholas II looked like his cousin George V but in my opinion Prince Heinrich was far more similar looking to George V.
Mein Kaiser, Mein Vaterland, Mein Reich.🇩🇪👑☀️
I forgot to add I'm 45 next month!
I have been obsessed with the Romanov family since I was 16 years old and at school (I came across an article in Reader's Digest about their brutal murder and how they eventually found the bodies and I read it and I was hooked) then I read "Nicholas and Alexandra" by the late, great Robert K Massie and got quite attached to the family (I think that's the best way to describe it anyway!) and after I left school at 18 there seemed to be alot of new books 📚 coming out at that time about them so I've got quite a Romanov family books 📚 library going now and it's still growing! I have been to Russia 🇷🇺 three times (St Petersburg, Moscow, Tobolsk and Yekaterinburg) and saw lots of things there. I know people argue 🙄 about which of the sisters was the most beautiful and I think it was equally Olga and Tatiana but for different reasons, I know everyone else has their favourite but they're mine. I really enjoyed this video.
I became his fan as a Turkish because I always wanted to know wbo would visit Ottoman Empire 3 times and visit everywhere in Istanbul , Damascus , Bagdat , Jerusalem and many more. I never knew he was exiled to the Netherlands. I thought he passed away somewhere in Germany like Bismarck. I have visited his house in Netherlands and saw so many different gifts he was given when he was in Istanbul. Ottoman carpets laying around everywhere , Ottoman insignias , matches etc not only that many many collections from different cultures. Now to me Prussia is different , Third Reich is different and todays Germany is different stories. Only common thing is language ! I am also devoted life time member of his house museum
He was very fond of the ottomans, which is why relations between the two were great. Also, I believe there was a Monument made for him in Istanbul in his honor
It's sad that once you realize in every picture, he never shows his left arm because of his deformity
My beloved great great grandfather
