An about me to help people know who is on the other side of the screen during Discussion Board posts.
Script:Hi guys! My name’s Nick Hailey and this will be my first semester with the Concurrent Program though it’s not my first semester with ODU. I’ll be taking three courses, so these are basically my top priority. I’m glad to be back being a monarch! I’m excited to be back, but I’m also excited to have finished my first semester with J. Sarge’s Nursing Program. A little bit about me: I’m getting ready to be a care partner at the CSICU at VCUHS. I was a show choir kid during high school, I’m into all kinds of music - though country has my heart. My best friend just recently asked me to be his best man. I’m going to be helping him propose this summer and we’re going to be saying a sad goodbye as he goes off to North Texas (UNT). I have a million reasons to want to be a nurse, but the one that sticks out the most is the time I spent with my grandma during her end of life transition back when I was about 15. Some of the Nursing staff that I met during that time period really inspired me and I look forward to stepping into their shoes or being among them.
