I feel that. I still want to finish the last 4 or so bosses on normal and get an A+ and then go back to expert and get S rank on all of them and I am, quite frankly, terrified hahaha (and that's not to even mention the DLC I haven't touched yet)

Can confirm that this is true in standard situations (both players on flat ground mimicking the exact same movements), but it isn't always what I'm going for. A bigger factor to keep in mind is ping, and with my average of 69 (not even joking), which is considered medium ping, I'm basically gonna be trading with most people. Low ping players (assuming the people I'm talking about are all "perfect") will always hit me first in standard situations, so when I'm hit up in the air, I'll probably want to look down to get my closest distance to hitting them. Medium ping to high ping players, first hit can make a difference in tiny tiny situations, but other factors will usually make a bigger difference like who gets to the second hit first, etc. So, I usually plan for "worst case scenario" by making my muscle memory be about at the chest area- I've talked with a lot of top players, and most have agreed that aiming for chest is fine on hypixel bc of the differences in how they handle ping diff's + the custom kb on hypixel. With that being said, there's also not really a reason not to aim for eyeline level and to just adjust from there for the tiny moments where it does make a diff. I was actually thinking about this comment while playing duels today and in ~3 different matches where I was tying/slightly losing, this comment made me fix my aim and I ended up winning those fights, so I credit you for those wins for reminding me.

I've worked so hard since I got serious in 2021 to get better and you can actually see how drastic my improvements have been from my older videos. I literally show my gameplay + handcam, so not really sure how you can reach that conclusion unless you're basing your entire evaluation on a single game of sumo where I happened to get a good combo on you. Hypixel sumo is a notoriously laggy mess (and *is* infested with cheaters tbf), so I get that the tilt can build up and it can be a shitshow to go through. I really do get it. One side you don't get to see is all of the clips I have where I get mad during sumo because someone beat me and I'm convinced that they were cheating only to rewatch it after the fact and realize that I was just in a bad mood and just got outplayed. I checked out your channel and you seem like a cool guy (and can tell you're super knowledgeable about the game from how you talk about the specifics of pvp and accurately describe fights like at 9 mins 33 secs of your latest upload where you give props to someone you final killed for playing well). So, I want to try giving you the benefit of the doubt in thinking that you don't have any malicious intent or are some irredeemable jerk when you seek out my channel just to comment unfounded rumors to my friends. I'm sorry I wasn't empathetic when you messaged me originally. I don't know if I could have really said anything that would have made a difference for you in the moment, but responding to poke fun at you and calling you angry wasn't cool- it was a dick move. I'll take this moment (I truly will) to reflect and work on becoming a better person bc of it, and I hope you do too. I hear what you mean. Clip dump #2, when i started taking the editing more seriously, has several moments like those I wish I took out. I've actually started being a lot more intentional with what I've been leaving in though. I realize now a lot of it has to do with audio. Other parts just have to do with general "flow" of the video I think feels best as I'm editing and trying different things. 2:36 - I leave in up until I go to f5 (which I do a lot) before triggering the cross dissolve because I felt that any sooner and it was a bit discombobulating for the viewer to have a transition where the focus is on the start of the next clip but then the previous changes a ton with the camera because of cycling through f5. I don't know why I chose a cross dissolve here though; a jump cut seems like it have worked best. 2:55 - A lot of times I leave in footage that I personally like. Speed bridging and good movement personally make my brain go brrrrr. For here, I also actually included this in its entirety to *maybe* help viewers who are new to bw learn good strategy. I always appreciated/appreciate when other creators include stuff like this. Specifically, I'm referring to 3:10 where i notice that my teammate died to aqua in chat, so I'm checking if aqua is rushing us + if we're in trouble and I need to get back before I continue to attack gray. (I also think it helps me subconsciously to retain these behaviors upon rewatch too). 4:05 - This is a really good example of movement that I like to rewatch; this is 10 billion % the results showing from my time spent practicing on bw practice server. 4:39 - Clean movement I wanted to include too (I feel like I'm my own number one target audience for these videos + they're an archive of things I don't want to forget which is why I include stuff like it lol) Sometimes I leave in certain parts to communicate how crazy the clip is since it's all one continuous clip rather than two disconnected moments. 1:24 - Shows that it was multiple fights all in a row, but sped up the "boring" part to like ~250% to not completely waste time. I experimented with a lot of different speed up times and felt this was the fastest I could go without it disturbing the flow of the video. I've actually started cutting back on this though, like at 6:59; if I feel there's TOO much in-between footage to make it worthwhile, I just take it out and make it two clips. This might (aka, probably will) be something I push even further though for future vids. I want to get more consistent with what types of cuts I use where to indicate whether it's an entirely new clip or continued from the previous one. (similar to YTbers who post sets of full games and use an entire dedicated transition sequence in-between games but just use jump cuts for showcasing different parts of the same game, like Nos-Daemon.) 1:46 & 5:28 - I want to show that I have jump boost, speed, and invis beforehand so that the viewer understands the full context of the fight that's about to happen in its entirety. Esp. for the first one, I honestly don't know how big of a difference it makes or if it even MAKES a difference. 7:28 I include the typing, and specifically, the gray at green base going back and forth to show that they were acting like rats (lol) before the actual encounter. I thought it was funnier. 10:05 - There was actually a lot of stuff I left out like throwing diamonds and ems off the void, but the reason I kept the gap portion in was actually because it shows that the blue was heading up to the em gens which is why I turn around to meet him up there. I could have started it just as easily at 10:10 to "not waste any time" and to "cut to the chase" (literally), but I felt like I had good movement + it did a better job of showing a little sneak preview into my thought process. Moments like these are definitely debatable and up to one's preference about whether to leave them in or not. Like I said, I'm basically my target audience, and I love it when I see other creators including stuff like this. It (weirdly) feels a bit more personal, and i start to recognize certain player's movement patterns and can start to predict what their next steps are going to be because of previous situations. One thing I also focus on is trying to match the bg music (somewhat) with the current clip playing if I can help it, so sometimes I'll include a little bit of "filler" footage to time what I'm aiming to accomplish with the matching properly. Clip Dump #3 has a good example of my speed bridge near the beginning matching the bpm of the music. I also leave in certain parts of clips after the "cool" part ends to include certain sound queues like a final death happening, me finishing what I was saying/laughing, specific mouse/keyboard clicks, etc. 1:44 - I leave in the running here and waited until the player died to give an audio queue as the reason for moving on to the next clip (this could do literally nothing, but I find it satisfying; maybe it's because in game I always wait for the audio of someone dying before I continue to move on to whatever I'm doing next). 1:11 - My triple click that was for requeuing in sumos acts as a transition to the next clip. 3:28 - I wanted to leave my commentary in as more context for why I laughed after beating blue in the same game afterward (not sure if this got through at all). I've actually been editing things like L hooks in (editing technique where the previous audio from the scene plays even though the footage for the next clip has started playing visually) to make it slightly more efficient. 9:17 - With all of the editing done previously, this allows me to start a new song at the start of the new clip. I didn't do it perfectly, and quite frankly, was a bit lazy with my trimming of previous clips to make it work as perfectly as it could have (not wanting to remove previous content), but I try to stick to *some* level of consistency. 11:33 - Wanted to show my reaction to the minute long sumo since I personally felt like it was the most worthwhile part of the fight (would have been p boring and not worthwhile to watch without a real payoff [besides seeing me win]). Also felt like it was a better end to the video as I faded to black, showcasing that I kept playing past that clip but still displaying (what I hope was) a decently satisfying end to the video. No idea if this (or anything else) had the effect I intended though.

tldr; I see what you mean, and there are some parts I don't entirely know what my intention was during editing. I try to be super mindful of transitions and what I leave in, but I'll keep in mind what I can improve + will try to be as intentional as I can with what I leave in. Idk why I felt I need to write over 1,200 words to express this.
