You'll never be the master before you are the student, so get your hands dirty and get yourself some PvP experience under your belt. Even if you lose you'll learn how to be better for next time.

@@kitolamus3238 Sometimes you're gonna get stomped on, there's no getting around that. There's always going to be players who are better than you or are going to get lucky in naval combat. Complaining and moping about how you're never going to win anyway is a self-defeating mindset that isn't going to get you anywhere. The best thing you can do about it is to practise your own skills and give your opponent a proper fight, that way you'll have some fun even if you don't end up winning. There's no fun in winning all the time if losing isn't on the table, that's what makes the PvP so much fun in this game. And yes I know people are sweaty and toxic, but unfortunately that too is part of the experience. Shit like that only makes the good experiences stand out more.

Tbf it’s actually been a lot better with losers like you gone. Everyone wants to fight now and the game functions more as it was originally designed to. It’s a win for both camps. Interactions on the seas are not only more competitive on average but also less toxic. Loot stacking is more common due to most of the pve players left being at least intermmediate in skill which leads to better steals. It’s healthy for both sides of the gameplay loop to let swabbies like yourself learn and thrive in their own closed environment. All you were gonna do anyways is waste an hour of both our time just to sink and donate your loot anyways. Especially with the Red Sea changes that make catching you basically inevitable with some determination. Trust me we’d all prefer you don’t return to the highs seas lmao.

If you were a boxer, would you want to compete against other boxers, or would you rather drag someone in off the street and FORCE them into the ring with you? ​@@scubasteve2189 Your hypothetical argument is a vast, vast misrepresentation of how the PvP system in Sea Of Thieves works. Safer Seas was introduced to the game to serve as an extended tutorial for players to get to understand the game's mechanics and get an idea of how to handle naval and hand-to-hand combat. High Seas is, always was and always will be the main game mode as the game is intended to be played. You're supposed to lose sometimes, there is no fun in always coming out on top with ease. If you want to continue playing Safer Seas indefinitely, I don't have a problem with that personally. If you're going to be all smug about it and label all High Seas players as toxic griefers looking to get their power fantasy off, yeah I'm going to have something to say about that. If you're going to play High Seas knowingly getting in the lobby with other players who can come and sink you at any given time and then proceed to whine about it, yeah I'm going to have something to say about that. Choosing to keep eating at the kiddie table by staying in safer seas is limiting yourself to only the basics of the game simply because you're afraid of losing. Being apprehensive about playing with genuinely toxic players is understandable but that's a different topic and there are ways to protect yourself from that. SOT PvP is some of the most exciting and engaging gameplay I have had the pleasure of partaking in and every fight is a new unique experience, you are doing yourself a disservice by denying yourself that. Yes it will take time before you have enough experience to start consistently doing well in combat and yes you're going to run into toxic players, but the pros far outweigh the cons. I reject your hypothetical argument entirely because it does not align with the topic at hand in the slightest and strikes me as purposefully misrepresenting the facts to get your point across.

what time are you usually playing at? i’ve noticed this at certain times like the middle of the night and early morning

@@xanekase4713 I think that’s a slow time because most people are at work or school, if you want to run into people around 9-10pm at rush hour you’ll usually find trouble
