We solo the Rubicon Trail with a broken front axle!!
First time running the Rubicon Trail and we broke the gears up front... but we didn't let that stop us from having a great time. The Jeep is undergoing surgery now and will be back with 1 tons and a bunch more goodies!!
Thank you Mike (@ambrose728) for riding along on this adventure, and for getting some great shots of the trip!

We get away from the city chaos and tackle Slick Rock Trail in a full size Bronco and the Jeep, all during Fords release of the new Bronco! 2002 Jeep TJ Sport. 35's, rear locker, 4' bastard short arm @timb_witha_b 1990 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer. 35's, rear locker, 2" spacers @krawlin44 Sorry, had to remove music from video due to Copyright claim.
All stock gearing? engines? BTW, watching the Bronco flex and go over stuff was pretty impressive..
Should re upload this video without the music so we can hear the vehicles! Other than that this is badass!
Glad you enjoyed! I lost the video otherwise I would definitely do that.
I really love this
I really appreciate you watching and the kind words!! Thank you!
great guys, good adventures, I have enjoyed watching, if you want to see more broncos and jeeps on my channel I also have adventures, courage and hard 💪🏻
if it wasn't for the music i could've made it past 7 minutes. sorry but the music completely ruined this video!!!! terrible choice
Thanks for giving it a shot
The old ford left with a few more rock rashes than it came with. That always means a good day on the trails. 😁
He really enjoyed this trail and the Bronco and driver did so good!! Thanks for watching!!
Great video but please get rid of the music!!!
Awesome video. I enjoyed this.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!!
I love how that big ol' beast of a truck climbed the rocks just as good as that little jeep. A Bronco is a lot bigger, stronger, and more versatile than a jeep, and it delivers a smoother ride..Awesome video!!
My favorite off road vehicle I owned was a 91, 4 door explorer. It was perfectly balanced and had just the right wheel base for me to get a lot of places. I have a 91 regular short bed f150 now with 33’s. I like it, the wheelbase is similar to the explorer but it’s not as balanced it’s harder to keep traction on the rear tires sometimes, and I need that with an open front differential.
Need more videos of this bronco. There is t much of these on UA-cam anymore
Good times fellas! Good to see a full-size out there killin it!
I love my 1996 bronco It’s a beast I have several jeeps and one bronco 35s on a stock Jeep wow
Did he re-gear to run 35's with that 302?
No, he never got around to it. Had stock gears.
That is incredibly beautiful geography and perfect amount of obstacles. Where is that trail? I love Broncos BTW. I’ve got 72, 89 full size, 89 Bronco 2, 94,95,96 here in Utah!
Thank you for the kind words! This trail is in California, it's called Slickrock Trail.
Dope video! I just got a 92 bronco, 31s and a 3 inch lift. I'm looking to do a bit of wheeling, and it seems that the bronco in this video is a similar build, and seems pretty capable. Any word on that or the broncos off-road capabilities?
Solid platform!! This Bronco had a 2 inch spacer in the front and 35s. He rebuilt the rear clutch pack in the factory posi which helped a ton, before that this thing struggled. Enjoy every bit of it and build it how YOU want to. Thanks for watching!!
Boring sorry
That was great guys looks like you had a good time like Pink Floyd said wish I was there
Thank you for the kind words and taking the time to watch!!
Use PB Blaster for the lug nuts. WATERdisplacement40 causes rust later on
You literally can not beat that bad ass bronco look… new ones are trash tho
NICE!
If I was a fly. Intro took my lifespan Pass.
Some of the best bronco footage I have ever seen, just a good day wheeling. Awesome!
Thank you for the kind words! It was an amazing day of wheeling indeed.
24:13 Should've had him turn passenger.
Good eye!! Off camera we did try that and it would've worked but the Bronco slide over and got hung up on the rear diff.
302 or 351?
302
@@booshmedia4918 how about tire size on both vehicles?
Thx for the video 👍🏻💪🏻 What size tires does the bronco run and how mouch is it liftet Greatings from carsten ( in DENMARK )
Hi Carsten! The Bronco is running 35/12.50R15 with a 2 inch coil spacer. Other than that it is stock. Thank you for enjoying the video!! Cheers!
What rear bumper is on the bronco? I’d love something like that for my 91
He custom made it in his lunch breaks. Turned out pretty rad! Good luck with your build!!
12:55 -- still not center-locked.
You talking about the locking hubs?
@@C-NoteMac The rear and front wheels should spin at the same rate; video ones are not doing that.
Correct, the Bronco doesn't have a front locker. All other components of the drivetrain working as intended.
8:50 -- center is SO not locked.
What makes you think we want to hear that music. Mute
I'm happy you watched the video and happy you found the MUTE button. Cheers!
ha uncle Timmy its Jaxon your nephew i miss you so much i hope you get this comment love you see you in face time in about ten minutes love you i will watch all your videos
Love you buddy! Hope to see you very soon!
Super sick footage, but the video would be waaaayyy better without that music! Love the Bronco and it would be nice to hear the exhaust and tire squealing!
Thank you for watching and for the feedback!
Excelente video yo tengo una ford bronco 1989 y me gustaria hacer eso ... saludos desde tijuana mexico , vean videos de la presa tijuana .
Nice video. I was wondering if the Bronco has a front locker of any kind? Looks like free wheel was spinning sometimes and others not.
Thank you! The Bronco is open in the front, only has rear traction aid.
