I'm so sad and heartbroken by the fact that we didn't appreciated Halo 4 and the good and beautiful efforts 343 had for this new narrative, instead we have 3 different Halo games with completely different directions and stories

Halo: Combat Evolved (in my honest opinion) is the _best_ out of _all_ of the other Halo series-by _Bungie_ and parsecs better than the disappointing _343 Industries_ series. This level is a _perfect_ example of "show, don't tell," and it's genius! Every map has this going for it, too! Here, the darkness, rain, and foggy atmosphere with the "calm before the storm" ambience is just amazing! It's showing us-as the Master Chief, that this place is not to be disturbed, and it will get very bad-if it is disturbed. As you progress through the map, the constant rain and the swampy environment represents and alludes to "The Flood." The fog represents uncertainty and confusion, and the darkness represents that this place is very mysterious, yet very dangerous. The ambience (and music) just adds to it even more, and it's "lightning-in-a-bottle" perfection! Also, you could explore the maps _much_ more than _any_ other Halo game, too! It's simply genius! Thank you for uploading this! I just _love_ this classic game!

I swear i heard the laboratory ambience in the first Dark Souls. I remember hearing it in Blighttown but the volume was a fair bit lower.

One thing super awesome about the Swamp Sound Effects Only section of the ambience is that, if you listen carefully, you can make out some of the distinctive groans, grunts, wheezes, chirping, slurping, gurgling, and hissing of the Flood Combat Forms partially hidden under the loud rainfall. It is some excellent audio foreshadowing just as the motion-tracker signals and shadowy shapes of the combat forms at the log bridge also foreshadowed the Flood.
