"Mahler is simply one of the very greatest composers who ever lived and one who's had such an important impact on my life. Mahler's music is a “sound cosmos” unto itself. He believed that art should reflect all of the tragedies and trivia of life, but also its immeasurable beauty and mysteries. I invite you to join me in exploring the work of this brilliant composer and its profound reflection of the world around us.” - Thomas Hampson

Divine! I had the great joy of meeting this great singer and his lovely wife in a masterclass ( I was only an attendee) in Melbourne some 10? years ago. I will never forget that day!
As always, amazing voice and musicality. The pianist should learn from the great maestro.
wonderful
Love the Winterreise this is coming from. And love Thomas Hampson since he sang here at San Francisco War Memorial Opera House. Also love his Christmas Album and an opera film Village Romeo and Juliette of Delius.
Such beauty in the voice and accompaniment. Intimate setting.
Super, super, super, super, super
Thank you🌞music connects🌞so wonderful❤️
Wonderful said💛

Danke! Danke für den grossartigen Mahler Month April 2022!🌳💐
Love music from Gasparone, love operettas and adore Thomas.
S.v.p. traduction française ! Merci
This sounds wonderful. I‘ve been loving Mahler since I was 16 and was convinced I could die this instant without regrets and go straight to heaven after being exposed to the 8th symphony in a live performance. But I won‘t be able to join, because, well, no 500 spare dollars. Seems like affluent Mahler fans will have the edge on this.
Teach people because they really need it .
I can't wait!
Sounds interesting.
🙏🧡
🙏Danke!
Thank you, so wonderful 🙏dear Thomas Hampson!
Wow.... Is this guy really a baritone??? He is awesome, but sounds like a tenor!
Fantastic! 😍
Excellent !!!
Beautiful, beautiful singing!
wow so beautiful
I like very much he's song 🌹
He is fantastic singer !
The sound of spirit for impregnation, amazing
BRAVO MAESTRO!!!!
Stupendo, excellent, beautifull voice of baritone. The aria Komm zigan is maravilous. CONGRATULATIONS MAESTRO.
This Lied is facinantic,. fntastic. Thanks Mr Hampson, you voice is beautifull
I always loved Thomas Hampson: he has such a beautiful voice, is very expressive, and so very handsome.
Where's Monica Lewinsky?
Your comment says a lot about you and all of it negative. Go back to your sewer where all the sxit flows.
This Leader is wonderfull, go into my soul. And the ïnterpretation of Baritone Thomas Hampson is the best.
Mein Lieblings Lied
Epic
Wonderful. No wonder Thomas Hampson is my favourite present-day baritone!
It's been many many years since I last heard this. Many many thanks.
sorry...but this is not a bariton.....tenor voice with bad technique...small voice without depth
Rubbish
Garbage and bs
In "Beautiful Dreamer" he employs a high lyric baritone quality. That was a choice he made. He is/was capable of much more. Listen to the other selections from this appearance. While it's true his voice never had the core of a so-called "Verdi Baritone" he nonetheless was able to assay a myriad of composers and styles over his long, distinguished career.
I'm so in love.
What a beautiful song - never heard it before!!
Ah, Maestro, bello. i hope this audience appreciated the gift.
With that tessitura, he might have trained to be a tenor!
Lovely, gorgeous singing, but why were the spirituals and vast African influence on American music not spoken of at all in the introduction? Not all of American music is rooted in Europe.
Thomas Hampson .... BRAVO!
