@@dom0 The first third (from the Thredbo side) is definitely the easiest - it's like riding on a gravel walking track, very easy to ride. The middle third into the last third gets a bit more technical with sharper corners and more rock features to ride over - as you'll see in the video. It's definitely still doable, but just keep in mind that if you've never ridden a mountain bike before, there will be sections where you will probably get off the bike and push it over some rocks and so on for a few seconds here and there. Main thing would be to wear kneepads, a helmet and gloves - especially if you're new to MTB!

I would definitely recommend it - it's $20 to get in (byo bike), or you can hire normal MTBs / eMTBs when you get there. However, all of the "fun stuff" (in this and most of my other videos from Hiddenvale) is at the top of some fairly long / steep climbs. So if there's availability, I would definitely book a shuttle online for $80 (which includes the park entry fee), which takes you to the top of some awesome runs - including "Dialled In", "Devine", and "500 Above". Don't get me wrong - you can ride to the top (and I have once!), but there's a reason the awesome 7km trail up there is called "500 Above" ...it's 500m above sea level (and the park entry is at about 100m) - so... 400m of elevation! haha. Definitely try this one - as well as Colonel Senders (they're our top 2 favourites at Narooma). Make sure you get shuttles, though - it's a hard slow to the top otherwise haha.

Hiddenvale Adventure Park, near Amberley in Southeast Queensland

We started at Builyan & rode 'uphill' towards Kalpower / Barrimoon (where the tunnels are), then turned around, meaning the way home back to Builyan was mostly downhill. I remember a few long sections of not having to pedal much at all on the return journey, which was great (we had mountain bikes, so they're always more work than a gravel bike). Definitely do the uphill (Builyan > Kalpower / Barrimoon) first.
