I bought my Vader costume & boots from likingcosplay. My helmet is the black series lightsaber - ultimate fx. I would like to have the proper shin guards also the Cape chain & my shoulder armour is a cheapy material. But I'm happy with it

For the shoulder armor did you just paint it over the original paint or did you sand it? Also did you spray paint the gray or use a paint brush?

Vader's story was destroyed by disney sequels..... Vader and palpatine were searching for the power that only Darth Plaqueous had... And suddenly in disney sequels they have the ability to heal and stop death.....fail in all aspects... But i admire your work bringing joy to sick children. It's honorable and you deservere much respect for that. For my vader suit all i need is the cape and belt boxes...so im still looking for a cheap solution. I love your videos about vader

It's worth it to splurge on leather. Nothing on this planet will make me wear pleather again even if I was forced to quit my job and give up my house. The difference was eye opening. I sweat like 40% less with leather.

Me again. Been scouring your Vader videos and making notes. I have an approved ROTS version but I have spare parts from my Rubies and I think I can get ANH done following your guidelines. I'll need the Helmet, belt hanger, and the Capeset ($$$ LOL). I found an eFX for $300 and think I'm going to snap it up. Thanks again for your videos, you've been very helpful. My rubies shins were not approvable even though they were ROTS Vader for my ROTS costume. I'm amazed you got them approved for ANH. Congrats. For a voice system, try the Hytechtoyz unit. Under 50 dollars delivered from evilBay.

Unsure how you did it for under 1k. The rubies is at least 500, the cape set with tunic as well, and KJB is ultra high end. The helmet was 250 plus tax plus possibly shipping. The boots are 50 minimum. The rubies shins are not approvable (wrong size). The chest box and belt boxes are the wrong size and have the wrong knobs and wrong mesh, so I'm not sure why they were approved even with mods. You need a lightsaber, even if it's a belt hanger, and that's at least $75 (used MR). Don't get me wrong, you did a great job and congrats on approval. I just don't see how so many rubies parts got through and I don't see how this was under 1k, even if you're using the rubies bodysuit. The cod would probably pass for basic approval, though it isn't an accurate ANH cod. Can you elaborate? I was not approved when.trying to do what you did. Perhaps you passed over a year ago? Thanks!
