@@notgamingwithmax it’s a little of both in my opinion. I will be doing a 51 tooth rear from the stock 49 just to give me a little more bottom end usability. Later on in either this ride or one of the last ones I oddly enough stalled the bike (user error) chugging up a hill in second and instantly knew a sprocket is in the future. By all means it holds its own but the day prior I was doing 2nd 3rd and 4th gear power wheelies on the 06 ktm 300. Again apples to oranges but really put into perspective where this bike is at power to weight wise.

@@MessyRides Yeah totally get it. These modern 4 strokes are a iffy bunch when it comes to the power. It seems the EPA will never allow us a fun powerful motor anymore. I picked up a Beta 500 this year and I believe it's the most powerful in it's class out of the box. It's actually pretty sweet and can do 4th gear power wheelies with a little tug on the bars. I did change the sprockets to 14/48 though. But my favorites are 300 two strokes. They are all round a different animal with their light weight and good ripping power bands. I'm amazed how much torque the new ones have on the bottom end. Blows my mind on harder singletrack. It's seriously like cheating. How's the Kove with Flame outs? The new 800x looks pretty sweet!

It has been difficult using the TomTom map but you may have better success using mapbox for offline maps!

Hey there! I appreciate you tuning in and I hope I can be of some help with respect to the map/gps! Within the "ThinkerApp" you have to pay for one of two options for. map service. It may be different as you are based in another country but here the options are TomTom and MapBox. I opted to pay for the TomTom as it was much cheaper. May have gone the other way with what I know now. Once you pay for and start the app subscription, within the ThinkerApp you can use the little map feature and plug in your destination. Once set the map will display on the Kove screen so as long as your phone screen is not turned off. By toggling with the thumb control on the left, you can also work out a way to have the full map displayed on the screen and not just the turn by turn. I have yet to really dial in the map feature but as soon as I do, I will drop a video on that specifically! I hope this helps and please ask any additional questions you may have!

@@dariolinson278this Saturday will be the Gila River loop launching from River Bottom Bar and Grill off the 79! Planning to meet by 5:45am and riding by 6:15am! The following Saturday will be a shorter loop in cottonwood canyon launching from the staging area on the east side of highway 79 just north of Florence. Likely meeting at 6 and riding by 6:30!

@MessyRides it's been awhile since I have explored near the sedona areas i know alot of sxs use those trail systems now due to Sedona being a huge tourist town so people rent them all the time dosent mean we couldn't sometime go explore together I'd be down to get a group together and see what we can find together there are tons of trail systems all over regardless let's do it 🤙

This is something I need to take into consideration heavily as I am hosting these rides! I have a level of guilt for Greg’s crash as I was the one hosting and “guiding” everyone through the terrain!

@@MessyRides Sounds awesome! Nother couple weeks and it ought to be cool enough. Doing that trip on the 88 this weekend, then I’ve got a couple backpacking trips planned up north. After we that it should be good.

@@rvtech101 if I could convince my wife, a backpack camping trip would be way too much fun! Oak flats is just north east of where I am at and it has dispersed camping + a toilet plus tons of technical riding!!!

@@rvtech101 Spot on with the Arizona guess! I’d sound like a brand ambassador or fan boy if I really got into how much I enjoy the Kove but I always start with, “I’m coming from a ‘15 r1200gsa” so I’m sorta bias towards such a light bike (320 lbs with 8 gal of gas). Check out @dirtbyk here on UA-cam for a better “long term review” as he has nearly double the miles and probably twice as hard on the riding as well. As for my opinion, I absolutely love it! Affordable, factory street legal, and a to. Of fun to ride out in our area (Arizona!)
