Its true that forgiveness is the first step. But also having a conversation properly about how to work out problems, with finding a solution to them is another. God made people differently where each has a different opinion or a thought process. Most people who been together usually are mature enough to regulate their emotions with common sense and logic. Without that and God on your side... It turns out most people get into a relationship with all the wrong reasons. Forgiveness is important but understanding the person and them also doing the same in return is also important. One cant do it alone and with 2 people God gives us grace for each other in short comings or in failure.
