Can I used BenQ Gw2790Qt for Video Editing & Color Grading ?

Thanks for your presentation I too have been agonising over what display to use for Music creation, needing to move on from my wonderful iMac 27", as I wanted to embrace the latest Logic Pro application. I fell heir to an Apple Mini M1, so whilst it's not up to date, at least I'm now on the Apple silicon platform. After much searching I gravitated towards the BenQ series of monitors, but they offer so many variations, so I wonder if it really matters which I go for??!!!! That said, I understand the connections to my computer may have an impact..... You have connected yours through HDMI, but l've been led to believe (whether it's correct or not?), that Display Port gives better resolution/ quality? I've noticed some of their monitors don't offer Display Port. Also, I love the 27" screen from the iMac, but questioned whether I should move up a size to a 32" which gives me slightly more screen space for the Logic Mixer. So, what was your thinking behind this choice, given the myriad of others in the range? Only price?

Really good review. LIKE & SUB+! BTW, I see, that this VST pluging has MIDI OUT. I wonder (I don't have synth yet, soooo expensive...) if with this plugin I will be able to get sound from hardware, analog synth via MIDI. I am 99% sure that yes, but if You find time to make a video with answer to my question, that will be nice. I can't find any video with answer to my question saddly and I don't want to spend money for hardware yet, cheapest I could find: Beatstep. Thank You and have a nice day Friend!

This plugin is not working the way shown in the video Even not alk octaves is working I installed it like shown on the website and its judt making flurry sounds Its nit playing any fulk note completely Im using it in reason 12 Its not working correctly You can go down one octave , thats it I did all steps right of the ibstalling process , and its just making a strange tripple note sound Im using it on an m2 mac mini with the highest version of sonoma Sadly not doing what shown here And theres also no help or advise o fix it Ok now i open it again This happens I reopen it Then it is playing the notes like shown here and on the website If im changing the octaves up snd down on my M audio oxygen 1 keyboard then its changing to weird keys transforming the sacophone sound Or it goes into a sample mode and its playing arpeggio My keyboard is working with all other plugins as usual I will just restart the mac and try again Then i will continue to describe the plugin For some reason the plugin is not working correctly Changing the octave on the midi MAudio keybord will cause problems Once the plugin crushed down no sound Making changes in the octaves causes the same effect as i wrote in the beginning , the plugin is somehiw playing the notes as a tripple note appregio sample Restarting the plugin so erasing from daw and realoading will bring it back working Strange problem But the plugin itself has a very good soundquality and its very natural sounding For free because of the sound its realy great But the issues using the plugin in reason 12 not good I will keep it Maybe i can reeinstall it or fix it Dont know what went wrong in my case So thats what happend to me installing the plugin using it If it works without problems its realy a very great Saxophone

This is not a sax. It's a keyboard using a similar sound.

Hi! Thank you for this. Just browsing UA-cam and your video popped up. I downloaded Apricot and put the stand alone in my very basic laptop and second hand 30 euro controller keyboard. Its ridiculous what you can do with a basic set up now. The sounds are amazing. I think I might try it out on a live gig next week. I am 60 and to get sounds like these 40 years ago would have cost at least 3000 euro back then. Thanks for the video.

Downloaded this today, excited to check it out. I mostly use phase plant but I’ve been really interested in phase distortion synthesis and was pumped to find this. Great demo, Valhalla supermassive is way underrated imo 🤘🏻

Hi, I've just tried the synth and it sounds good alright, the only problem I have found is that it really eats up cpu power and distorts the sounds. Sadly unusable at the moment for me, none of my other synths use even a tenth of what this uses. A good video anyway. 😀👍👍👍

Great video! Regency is a really unique synth in my opinion (but I am a little biased). Don't be fooled by its apparent simplicity, it's a really capable tool. I haven't seen many other phase distortion synths out there, let alone free ones that have this much modulation flexibility check out the Math modulation modifiers! Regency was chosen for KVR's One Synth Challenge last month (I belileve Apricot was chose for one last year too), you should go and listen to some of the submissions to see what it's capable of, there's some really talented people out there!

No VST for Windows users. Uninstaller for standalone doesn't work, and Windows can't find the app to uninstall it. Too bad.

It has a bug in the ADSR. Can't play slow attack without crackling.

Synthmaster is cool and cute. But can it sound really dirty and slightly metalic if you want?

My opinion on virtual sythns is to adopt a high-low strategy. Your higher end synth should be awesome and capable of all types of synthesis and modulation. Your "low" should be very fast and easy to use for general/basic sounds. As a free synth, this looks nice as your "low" synth. It's easy to understand and everything seems to be on the face of it.

Absolutely sensational synth, especially for ambient. I have very little music background but still managed to put some decent compositions together just from watching a few tutorials.

Cents is fine tuning pitch, so there’s octaves, then semitones, then 100 cents between semitones, handy for additional detune control
