Here I check out my new Schecter. Nice axe! Easy to play and great tones!
Guitar was played through a Line 6 Helix with the Freidman clean and dirty amp models, into a Firehawk 1500.
Backround music :
Music from UA-cam Audio Library [Aka YAL]

u had me at the philly accent...also just bought an omen...love it
*Sounds okay with all the moderate rock you demonstrated for us. Even the metal segment that was somewhat hard rock. But this guitar is designed for absolute gruesome, deadly distortion. Like The Exploited, Comeback Kid, Baptized in Blood, etc.* *If someone wants a budget rock guitar, grab a Player Strat, Squier, Epiphone SG or L.P., PRS SE, something like that. For heavy metal or metal core (insane levels of distortion) Ibanez, LTD/ESP, Schecter, Jackson, etc.*
Is that the research omen extreme?
I just ordered this guitar i got the blood burst version cant wait for it to get here to play this beast 🤘😆🤘
I just ordered this today and it'll be here Friday. Can't wait to get it! I'm finally picking up lessons again and feel like I can finally learn this time around. I've had a few people try to teach me in the past, and out of the different guitars I tried, the Schecters felt the best for me. Wish me luck!
I have used it a lot. It's pretty good for doing gigs. Even big live shows. Not bad for recordings either but if you can rent an expensive one then go ahead for that for recordings.
Bought one and I've been playing over 25 years. Sounds just as good as any $1000.00 guitar I have. You can either play or you can not. The cost has nothing to do with it.
I often use prs se tuners to upgradelower end esp or schecter guitars. They can be found used pretty cheep cause people upgrade to se locking tuners
I have the same guitar but it actually comes with 24 extra jumbo frets according to the Schecter website
What does that mean lol
Do you think it's worth trading an Ibanez S270 with Gotoh bridge for this guitar? I'm interested in a guitar with a fixed bridge and someone offered me this exchange.
super newbie question but which knob position splits the coils, raised or lowered?
Raised
Thanks for the great review! Did you have to set up the guitar or does it come set up?
Great video! Well done. Seriously thinking about one of these.
Does anyone know what the difference is between extreme and elite?
Luckily I've watched a bunch of reviews with this guitar and gotta say you need more variety of sounds when it comes to a demo. I'm sold on the guitar but not this demo.
i have 1 vol 1 tone version, i picked this over local standard epiphone les paul. I like the coil split sound but the neck humbucker is too dark for me. otherwise playability, finisihing are all good, better than epiphone i was originally choose.
22 frets ??? ..well....count again.it s 24
black or red ..
Both
I got this guitar a few days ago, and I find the neck pickup to be extremely muddy at low gain. This guitar requires a high gain sound dialed in.
24 Frets, not 22. I have one and double checked.
You can even see the 24 frets in the video at the exact moment he says "22".
What color is it? maroon or red ?
it's black cherry (BCH)
This or harley benton fusion
This
Is this good than demon 6?
If u r a beginner and intermediate than this is gud..
Thanks for the excellent tone demo, unfortunately some reviewers feel the need to vary the music on each pickup which makes it harder to hear the differences. These sounded a bit muddy, but the split modes sounded great which is rare for me. Usually split sounds too bright imo.
In my opinion Schecter pickups aren't really that bad if you want or Epiphone probuckers AKA mudbuckers I have my Schecter Omen 6 tune down to drop a sharp and they actually sound better for the lower tunings
Im stuck between which color i want now lmfao
Fr man, its hard for me to choose between the Red or the blueish-ocean looking one. I mean it’s hard to choose even with the Magenta and others lol
Great rewiew man ! I think that this guitar for a beginner is too much , I'm not professional guitarist but I started playing guitar 10 years ago , so I want a great guitar to shred very fast and with metal sound , I'm very insecure about this or the ibanez rga42 , I'm metalhead
try looking at ibanez rgrt421
me to. I am between Ibanez RGRT421 with reverse head and through neck and schecter omen extreme b6.
@@partizanvoin at the end I got the schecter Demon 6 , it's amazing
@@alexplant2791 what is the difference between omen 6 and demon?
@@partizanvoin demon has the active pick ups , Seymour Duncan , the cheapest , but it's very strong and powerful the sound , perfect for metal , and low tunes like drop A , or Drop B . The omen has passive pick ups and like this man is saying is perfect for a beginner I guess , and the design on the fretboard is different
I got Ex6 ... Dont want to own nothing else
Great review, thanks man!
I'm shopping around for a new guitar and shecter is really speaking to me. I'm still a beginner but I know I want a good quality guitar that will still be good for me in the future as I get better. Hopefully and I'm looking at the km 3
Schecter
With trem its more great
Only if you don't down tune often
When is the next video?
I did a review on mine on my channel. Love this guitar man. Wish I could have gotten that red! I have the blue one though
Lies!!! U did no review
Boruch Fresnipple might want to go look at my channel dude.
This model is my main guitar as I am not a professional guitarist😊😊😊
Is this good than demon 6?
