The people who I've met who are mushroom declined are a pretty sorry lot. My guess is they think mushrooms are dirty and disgusting because they come from the ground. There's dead people down there! Same as carrots and lots of other vegetables, but there's not a lot of thinking going on with taste preferences. Maybe there's a fungus connection; or perhaps it's a French connection which they don't like. I've been drinking Jordan for 40 years now. I recommended it a lot to customers back when I worked in a fancy restaurant. It was a 30 dollar buy back then; today its easily double that. I think Jordan is good, but maybe not great.

Thanks for sharing. You are correct! This is a good wine for sure. We've had it several times at a local steakhouse near me that has it on their wine list. We always take our own bottles (different wineries) but when we need to get into another bottle (or two)...we get this Donati Family - The Immigrant. Also, Paso is our favorite wine region. So, many solid wines/wineries in Paso. Oh yeah...I subscribed! Salud!

I tried the 2022 recently and in all honesty, it was just gross. It smelled ok, a little apple amd pear, but the taste was thick and boozy, had a fake butter film on roof of my mouth, a little nail polish, a little vanilla yogurt, a little burn on swallow. I couldn't finish a short pour.
