That machine is a hey cutting machine . Its would have cut and tied into small rooks ready to be moved and stored. Once the barley or wheat had been cropped . Great bedding for pigs . The remaining grain in the cuttings would have kept the pigs happy for hours looking for the remaining grain . I had 200 pigs at one time and was fully organic so all of my feed had to be organic . Barley , Oats and wheat .

I love these old farms . As a lad i was reared on a cattle farm and miss it so much . These buildings will last for ever if maintained .What a waste if this farm gets turned in to some developers housing estate . We should start listing these farms and making them a protected property . If you travel around Lancashire there are so many farms like this . We might just need these farms in the future and our councils should be buying them up and not for F housing . Who's going to feed us if things go wrong .

The headlight comes on when the steering locks on because there's a p for parking position on the ignition switch,so U can park up with parking lights on and steering lock on while U go in the shop ect

When you tried starting it you had the kill switch on, it won’t start like that. Also if it’s in gear it won’t start because it’s got a side stand switch

The wires could be for a clutch switch, some bikes have it as a safety feature so you need to pull in clutch to start and a lot of people join them together to bypass the switch.

Indicaters look good so save money and keep them and the clutch lever safety switch looks like it's been bypassed so you can start it without pulling the lever so you don't start it in gear the ignition if turned all the way round locks the steering and back light should come on turn the key back a little and hopefully that will work

When you have it running perfectly you won't regret 900quid engine is bulletproof if you change the oil and filter regular

There are 2 connectors under your clutch lever that the 2 wires are off. They have been joined together to bypass the switch. Normally you have to pull the clutch lever to start the bike. Your headlight issue is you are turning the key too far and are putting it in parking light mode. Turn it 1 click back to the steering lock mode.

The two wires are simply a safety when starting the bike so the clutch has to be pulled in u will probably find the switch has not been working the two wires plug in to and someone has spliced them together to make the circuit The bike will run fine until the wires come apart hope this helps

Carbs need to be synchronized and air/ fuel ratio set. Can hear it in the idle. Aftermarket levers. Will probably start in gear with the clutch out. Should be a clutch safety switch. Ignition switch should be marked. OFF/ RUN/ LOCK/PARK. Park setting should lock the steering and turn on the tail light on only Check the manual. Good luck

The "2 wires" might be 1 wire that was broke and cobbled together. Keep the LED indicators the draw ALOT less power from the battery AND are brighter and last MUCH longer. Re: lights being on when steering lock is on- there are offen 2 settings you can access with steering lock on, 1 steering lock only and a further click of the key gives you steering lock with parking lights, Although not usually head light , just the small parking light bulb in the headlight.

Does the horn work. If not . then them two lower wires could be off it.

There is another setting just after the steering lock and that's parking mode just turn the key back a little and the lights will go out but the steering lock will stay on and the key should come out, wires on the left hand side of the handle bars is for the engine start clutch switch which is on your side stand normally and it shuts the engine off if you put the side stand down if and it's in gear if I have got that right, check for a video on the tube on that as it's a long time since I messed with that part of my bandit 👍

I have been trying to get my Gs450 sorted since April. One thing after another. Bad owners previously. I expect to get it done by the end of year. I got it on Facebook market as well. I think it must be were they dump all the junkers.

leave those wire alone, they are the switch wires for the clutch lever many poeple do that to by pass as the switch plays out and you cant start it

Hi, the reason your headlight is coming on is because the bandit has parking lights, it's one click past the steering lock, cheers.

Excellent work bud, getting it running. Them wires are probably wires the head lamps, i think there earthing wires for the lights. At the end of the day you have lights and the engine runs, i would leave it at that. The exhaust could do with a change and maybe the head lights. If the police see you, there probably think, head lights and exhaust = street racer= pull him over. looking forward to the next video.

Be careful with ya pet cock when you go out . I thought I was running out of petroleum fumbled in dark no glasses on. Left bike while in pub. Got bike home running like shit. Banging n knocking. Turns out I filled engine with a full tank of fuel. Dealer said.😂 always use glasses n torch. Well done with ya bike.

that part you pointed to under clutch lever is the switch

the 2 wires are for your clutch switch normaly you would have to pull the clutch in to start it

I'm wondering with a previous owner having disconnected the clutch/starter function, it might be worth checking the safety switch on the side stand hasn't been faffed about with too mate 👍 just incase they were too cool for safety devices. They're not inconvenient when operational and deffo worth having working. Enjoying your clips chief 👍

My bandit is so easy to put the park lights on by accident when locking the steering. Fiddly bastard to get the ignition on though 😂

You should be able to engage the steering lock without the lights coming on? For the PARKING LIGHTS to come on, you usually turn the ignition anti-clockwise beyond the steering lock to the PARK position. I'd assume that the lights are hooked up to the parking light circuit.

That engine does not sound good to me fella, it sounds like it is missing on a cylinder. I would say it needs the cards ballanced badly.

The wires at the bottom of the clutch are the clutch starter switch. There should be two spaces where you have one, which these are normally wired to. The clutch switch when wired to the clutch require the clutch to be pulled in when starting, as you have them the wires are directly connected and are disabling the switch; therefore the clutch does not need to be pulled in when starting the bike. I have also wired these directly as I had an issue with the clutch switch it is not a problem however I would ensure they are connected better than they currently are.

On the key barrel. Steering lock, then lock with parking lights in last position. Left hand switch gear two wires, clutch inhibitor swith disabled/bypassed due to aftermarket levers my guess. Your carb heater appears to be not connected too. I think, couldn't see clearly. It's a bullet type connector hanging below the carbs. Brass screw in plug with male bullet You'll need that in winter. 👍✌️❤️

The mk1's dont have the clutch cutout, the mk2s do iirc. So your switch gear could be off that. The black blue and orange green are for your horn... if its there
