@FinishingTouchesMOV Thank You! N you got that right. The so called professionals even said I don't need to remove anything out of the cabinets. Believing them that they wld take care of it, I ended up with paint all over my pots, pans and dishes. Took me extra days to sell past home. Will never ever let anyone do a job that I can now properly (thanks to you) do myself.

I don't under the opinion that if you are actually skilled, good at something that you should not need any tools or preparation. Using the right tools and preparing properly is a significant aspect of being good at something.
I agree 100%.. sometimes tape is necessary, but it shouldn’t be your go-to move👍🏽
What is going on with the bottom there? I was waiting for that little dopamin a finished wall could give me but then saw that jagged edge.
😂😂the dopamine.. I explained that in the TikTok version but had to trim down for a 60 sec short. The drop ceiling and baseboard was installed a few days later
There is basically no reason not to use tape. Even if you're good enough not to need it, the fact that you can paint without having to worry about the edge makes it way more efficient.

I use tape when needed. I became decently skilled at painting and sometimes don’t need it. Depends where the extra protection is needed.

Thrown into a life inherited by circumstance he or she makes the best of it. But that's like playing the lottery, waiting for something to happen. I mow lawns for a living and clear 100k/yr solo. I was homeless when i started. I went out and got it. No one else was coming along to show me the secret passage to a new or real world. No one is coming to tell you the secret or offer you a genuine ground floor opportunity. I know it's just mowing lawns but if i can do it, anyone with unique skill can do it if they refuse to let their brain shut down when it comes to seeking themselves for the work they do.
