I dont find much need to stretch anything. You will get a little detune/flattening once you've tuned it up to spec and played a bit, but I find if I restring to tension, play some big chords and bends for a couple of minutes, and then retune, i'm good to go from there!

@ dope! Funnily enough I had them in a previous guitar and really didn’t like them, but they seem to pair excellently with this Strandy! So versatile - I use a mountain of coil split and middle position sounds in the band, and these do a phenomenal job!

I should have done, for my Prowler cover. This one just being in drop-c was sweet as that's what this guitar is setup for. The reason I didn't do it for my prowler cover is I would have had to get the nut re-cut to handle the bigger string etc. But I might give it a burn on another guitar, see how it feels, sounds like it's dope!

Sorry for the delay I never got the notifications! I wasn’t quite sure (whether it’s what Adam tuned to) but I tuned it (low to high) G G C G A D. It’s basically drop C with the top dropped down to G, and the F string raised a tone. I’m not sure at all if that’s right, but it worked haha.

@@thereignofdando Hell yeah. Um mm every song 😉 I would think the primarily blues and everybody knows i have fangs would go pretty good for you. There's another one, I think track 7 from memory but can't remember its name. Youre right though, it hates you is one special album and HIL are a very unique band. My old band used to actually cover there version of wounded back in the day. We may even be up your alley too. Ill attach a link in case you're interested. Loving your covers mate and definitely keen for more.

It's the best album

I’ll have to check but honestly I think I took someone’s fairly basic preset and just cut the preamp overdrive down to 0 Drive 10 Vol (std tube screamer stuff) and backed the gain back a little. It’s pretty much how the plug-in sounded immediately “out of the box”.

@@LifeInDecibel Short answer: Mids. Long answer: I am a huge Mesa Mark Series fanboy - I have a JP-2C and a Mark IV, which is why I was so keen on seeing how the Neural plug ins sounded in comparison to the amp family. I love the Mark series because it's a really heavy mid focused amp, so I generally run something equivalent to 5-7 mids, 5-7 treble, 2-3 bass and as low gain as I can handle without it being wimpy. In this video there is no real post processing beyond Oeksound Soothe and a limiter, its just purely the plug in and the track. Hope that helps mate! Thank you - in answer to the string gauge, not thick enough haha. I’m only running 10-52 on this guitar. Ideally for that low G I’d want about a 64-70 but didn’t want to have to cut the nut and stuff for one cover

@@shogunc7718 Thanks, honestly I had to tune it slightly out of tune, so when I was laying into it, it would be in tune. Such a pain in the butt haha.

@@thereignofdando yeah I've done similar before. Only went down to A on a 52 though. Can only imagine another whole step down haha.
