Basically, Flandre was locked in a basement. This fight... is just Flandre "wanting to play" because it's been so long since she's had someone to play with. Mostly becaues her "playing" with them often involves them dying. Not because she wants to kill them... kinda. But because her playing often goes too hard. Even in this fight, it's surmised that Flandre wasn't showing her full strength so she could play a little longer.

i remember from the eternal night pt1 animation, seeing the fight between marisa and reimu gave me ptsd from when i fought reimu in touhou 8, damm phasing cards and bullets gave me a hard time

Remilia, the demon girl, she is a vampire, Yuyuko the girl from the cherry blossom video, Youmu, the samurai ghost girl, and Sakuya the maid. The teaser at the end is a clue that only those who have played the game and/or been in the fandom for a while will understand. These videos, after all, are made by touhou fans for touhou fans.
