    My issue is past fusion and my insurance will not cover putting a replacement disk next to the fusion. My doc says workmans comp and medicaid will cover it but most insurance will not. Have you seen this and if so do you know any way to advocate to the insurance company to convince them to cover it?

    I'm so sad to say that the doctors most of us actually have access to do not tend to give personalized care nor do they come from an approach of preventative care. As an example some of the best care facilities may accept limited insurance or no insurance. For most this isn't a feasible option. The general healthcare system is not set up to operate in a way this doctor is explaining and I believe that's one of the main reasons people don't get the treatment they need to improve their quality of life.

    I have 3 bulging discs and spinal stenosis in lumbar area. Can a multi level microdiscectomy be used in my case? I do not want a laminectomy. I feel like that's too invasive. Thank you

    • @VSI_Spine
      @VSI_Spine 27 днів тому

      Great question. A microdiscectomy could be an option, depending on your unique case. We'd recommend scheduling a consultation with one of our spine specialists to review your imaging and medical history. This will allow us to determine whether a microdiscectomy, or another minimally invasive option, would be the better option. Feel free to contact us at 703-709-1114 or visit our website www.spinemd.com for more info. Wishing you the best!

    Dr. Neda Hashemi lied to my husband and I. She told us we were stuck at a centimeter dialated for 1 day. I had the urge to poop, but I was ignored. She made us sign for a c-section, and during our 2 month check up, she told us that we were at least 8 centimeters dialated, and could have had a vaginal birth, but that we can trust them for a v-bac because that's what her practice is known for. Neda Hashemi has more than one patient that she has lied to. She talks about her midwives to her patients, saying that the information they give is wrong and that the OBs are more right. She does not sincerely care for her patients, she is a fake who silences bad reviews about her to keep clients coming in. Many of her only good reviews are from paid sites or are old, most of the others are for her Midwives. She wavers with her patients according to her mood, even those she has had before. This Doctor can NOT be trusted.

    I had a single artificial cervical disc implant between C4/C5 and PEEK caging on C3/C4 and C5/6...I am past 28 days post op. I am on rigid cervical collar on a daily basis. My surgeon says to shift to soft collar 1 month post op. For 10 days, I was wearing my collar (Aspen Vista) round the clock and then removed it while sleeping 11 day post op. I have started weaning myself off of it for 4 to 10 minutes many times a day and feel my neck muscles have weakened. There is pain on the base of my neck and at the base of my skull and there is some pain when moving my neck sideways. I wanna know the do's and dont's for a combination surgery for me if there is any. I know it's a long way to healing but any insights are welcome. Thanks much!

    I have just recently found out that I have penis numbness for god, know how long (could be +5 years), but 12 months ago, I injured my lower back because of my own stupidity. What do u think could be the problem? Could it be possible that the lower back injury that I got that left my lower back going down numb for 5 minutes actually made my penis numb. I was able to walk and do things normally after the 5 minutes of numbness after the fall, by the way
