Easy & Practical Pour Over Recipe by 2023 WBrC Champion, Carlos Medina
Origami Recipe by Carlos Medina, 2023 World Brewers Cup (WBrC) Champion
Ingredients:
- Coffee dose: 15.5 grams
- Total water: 248 mL at 91⁰C
- Grind size: Medium Coarse / Setting 5.5 on Timemore Chestnut S3/ 26 Clicks on Comandante (750-00 Microns)
- Dripper & Paper : Origami Air S & Cafec Abaca Paper Filter
Steps:
1. Pour 50 mL of water in a circular pattern and let it bloom for 30 seconds.
2. Add 50 mL of water in a circular pattern and wait until 01.00.
3. Add 50 mL of water in a circular pattern and wait until 01.30.
4. Add 50 mL of water in a circular pattern and wait until 02.00.
5. Add 48 mL of water in a circular pattern. The brew should finish between 02.40 - 03.30.
6. Give your carafe a good swirl and enjoy!
