Live steam is hot.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
The engine is purring like a content cat - nice combo!
@@TH-wj9ty Thank you, Thomas.
Toller Spass für kleine und grosse Jungs😀
@@tenniV11 Danke Arnold. Vor allem für die Großen...
Lovely setup Juergen that mat is holding the accessories nicely - Cheers Jim
Thank you Jim. I have not regretted buying the mat.
Fun video Juergen - Cheers Jim
Thanks Jim.
nice arrangement Jürgen😃
Thank you, Arnold
Thanks Juergen ! It seems you had a great time ! 😊 Alas no such events around me … and certainly very few in France ! Please make a 3 hour video next year ! 😅👍🏻
...or you can come along next year and we can visit the museum together. The steam days are always on the last weekend in May and September. The distance is only about 600 km or about 7 hours drive.😊
@@juergen.hamers that would be to consider when we get a new car … This one is no longer reliable enough !
Thanks for the tour Juergen - Cheers Jim
Very nice Juergen - Cheers Jim
NICE!
They are great engines to run aren't they Jürgen - Cheers Jim

Sehr schön!
Something very fun to do at least after a visit to the Dentist! Cheers Jim
Such a beautiful engine :)
Thanks Jim. It also took some effort to make the engine look like this again.
@@juergen.hamers That's more than half the fun sometimes isn't it.
@@SteamEngines-Jim Yes, that's how it is. I posted about the restoration on the Mamod forum. It was scary how the engine looked when I got it.
@@juergen.hamers I'll see if I can locate the thread...the millhouse is in very good condition as well.
Here we are… www.tapatalk.com/groups/modelsteam/doll-344-6-a-steam-engine-with-an-excess-of-patina-t119103.html
Very nice Doll Juergen and the sawmill is in fabulous condition. Cheers Jim
Thanks Jim. I was glad to have finished the engine after a long time and I only recently acquired the sawmill in this condition at a very favourable price.
Thats a great engine Juergen, I really like the Doll , the sawmill is a perfect partner for the engine, a superb video mate....Steve
Thanks Steve. I took a long time to finish the engine. If the result hadn't been reasonably appealing, I would have deserved a beating. I bought the sawmill in this condition. It was perfect. I didn't have to do anything to it.
Sehr schön!!! Vielen Dank für das Video!
Vielen Dank!
As you know, I love those Doll water mills, and yours is in excellent condition. You are the one who found the one I have and I am very grateful. Wonderful video!
Thank you Mike. The sawmill is indeed in good condition. No rust under the paint. There is also very little flash rust inside the house. However, the model was restored by a previous owner and repainted on the outside. A very good job.
Beautiful
Funny to see all the similar- ities compared to a Fleish- mann 122/2 & 4.
All Fleischmann steam engines had predecessor models at Doll & Co. The Fleischmann 122/2 corresponded to the Doll 344/2.
It’s in excellent condition! Very nice Juergen!
Thanks Mike. The engine gave me some work in early 2022. The end cap from the boiler had to be completely replaced.
Needs more cowbell...
Do you have a suitable one?😆😂😂 The ringing comes from the engine.😁
Very nice. Does the rhythm of the tamper make anyone else want to dance?
😀😀😀
fun
it looks like you're getting addicted to that stuff 🤣
Totally!!! I can't get enough of it.🥴😵😵😇
Beautiful, thanks for the video.
You are welcome.

Ahah you did it, Jürgen ! 😀👍🏻 Congrats for that newbie !
Thank you, Oliv. It was an attempt.
A good one ! :-) @@juergen.hamers

Thank you Charlie.
Excellent job on the restoration Jürgen.
The job was not difficult. A lot of dirt and a rusty, smeared base.
Well done, Jürgen. Excellent restored engine.
Thank you, Thomas.
Simply wonderful!
Many thanks!
That sounds and looks great!
Thank you.
Very cool to see! ❤
Many thanks.
Well done, Jürgen!
Thank you, Thomas
Excellent, great restoration and a very good steam run Jürgen 👍
Hi Stew, the video was long overdue, as were those of other engines. Glad you like the rebuilt engine and the video.
seems like a nice little runner.
Nice background for the video as well
Thank you.
Sehr schön! Vielen dank für das Video! 👍👍👍
Danke Rupert.
What a lovely old Doll that is Juergen, such a treat to see it running so sweetly.
I myself was somewhat surprised by the good interaction of engine, transmission and fountain. When drying the fountain, it turned out that the bottom of the air vessel is rusted through from the inside. It has to go back to the workshop. The damage is repairable.😀
Sehr schön!! Vielen Dank für das Video!
Beautiful old Doll Juergen.
Thanks for the nice Words, Jim.
