lol the blade didn’t “snap”; it’s a tiny tang that popped out of the handle. 😂 Also what’s the real world use scenario for mindlessly beating your knife against a tree?

Is it easy to clench the grip around the spear? Mainly want to know how well the knife stays on when you pull it out of an object.

I broke the tip on mine 8 years ago but was otherwise fine. Switched it over to my metal detecting belt and have used it since as an archaeological tool and it’s been abused HARD but hasn’t broken!

I have this knife and it definitely is over rated. It is too heavy, blade is too thick for skinning, could have a better knife grind. If you love battoning then this knife fits the bill. That's what it's best for.
