I grew up in west Texas. Back in the day I would go out into the west Texas and Mexican desert with my uncle for days. I remember a friend of my uncle would go regularly to New Mexico and bring back these tumble weed balls the size of a soft ball made of fat wood. My uncle kept them in a sealed box for starting 🔥.
Where in west Texas? I lived south of Sonora at one time.

The video was shot in the Czech Republic but when I'm in the states I hunt in Texas. Night hunting for hogs and predators is allowed in Texas. Check your state regulations. The price and availability of digital night vision has greatly improved over the past few years.

Based on the way it walks and its largess and pointy ears, it seems like a fox, but the bushy tail seems to be missing from the fox instead its thin. I'm assuming either coyote or fox! Also, for determining what animal it is, you may want to look at pictures and compare.
