There is nothing to convince. Theravada is not inclusive of the laypersons anyways
@@spiritofmodernity9679 No, for centuries the Mahayanists have been trying to bring the Theravadans over to their side. There’s even ancient Mahayana suttas that tell the Theravadans that they can practice their way but in a Mahayana Buddhist land. Yes it excludes laypersons because that’s how the Buddha taught the Dhamma.

Buddhism was one ideology developed by Bhagwan Buddha later gautam Buddha went on that path There have been so many buddhas on this Bharat land and still there are so many buddhas walking around us and they are at Himalayan mountains especially at Kailash mountain
Everything was good when Buddhism was only limited with Siddharth buddha and his past budhhas. Its Division and branches are deviding my mind too. Mahayana includes Hinduism in it and vajrayana includes trantric and shaman things its blasting my mind and creating trust issues with these two branches and their relationship with Main Buddhism(Hiyaan) or Therwada. I better follow the Buddha given by Dr Ambedkar 😅

Navyana has limited and sorted study of Buddhism which is given by Dr Ambedkar but people tend to forget the real meaning of it and keep Buddha on head(treat like God) not in head(respect for real) that what make it more chaotic and as you mentioned worse. @@Nikhil-fm2lq
@@rickfresherI am trying to feed my brain with Buddhism and follow it for real. Buddha didn't told to not to eat meat he permitted it but it also have rules for it but people now a day calling themselves new buddhist and doing nothing what they suppose to do. They keep fighting with words with empty mind which is more dangerous for them only 😅

Doing a bunch of tantric practices isn’t a shortcut lol, shakyamuni (nirmanakaya)points to Amitabha (sambhogakaya) siddhartha is guru/teacher amitabha is yidam/meditational deity, western pureland is your hope of not regressing, doing a bunch of mudras, thinking you grasp emptiness when you really don’t, tantric practices of visualizing buddhas, these things do not guarantee parinibanna, and you could end up going to a celestial abode and falling back into lower delusional states after that birth, even a lot of tibetan buddhist are starting to realize this

When I met Tibetan lamas from the DZOGCHEN tradition after decades of silent meditation ( ZAZEN) they felt that I didn't even need to practice prosternations anymore and just enjoyed my presence in their temples. ... As far as TANTRISM is concerned,there is a l o t of confusion about this in the west ..I once lived in a socalled " Godess temple" because I needed a place to stay in LAWOMAN town. The resident "godess of permission" made claims on " t a n t r i c sexcoaching therapy" which I found kind of alienating and didn't want to have anything to do with.... My Japanese zenmaster TAISEN DESHIMARU ROSHI said that living in direct connection with ALL THERE IS ( like the ESSENES) via ZAZEN for long enough automatically creates a consciousness that compares to that of a tantric master....no need to go into details The mastery and discipline of LIFEFORCE is at the root of it. Using sex as a recreational event to " have some fun" to me personally never made a lot of sense.People who abuse lifeforce age quickly,create a lot of h o l e s in their aura and carry parts of the karma of each person ,they had " fun " with in their own energy field,thereby one day will need soulparts retrieval as their own soul has become polluted....this shows in their faces,bur c a n be r e v e r s e d.

Lord Buddha never said don't eat meat. Yeah but we are prohibited from killing animals but when it's served we eat. Theravada Buddhist doesn't eat Beef. But Tibetan Buddhists eat beef

My grandfather converted to Zen Buddhism after years of closeted practice when my grandmother, a Polish orthodox Catholic who had fled an occupied Poland. Only when she died did he feel the freedom to take all her pope photos down & bring his secret basement shrine/altar (the basement was also his construction room so she would never have had any reason to be in there) to the upper levels 😮 I was an atheist; more of a scientist really and a realist- on a good day, I could be cautiously optimistic lol Little did I know what I’d face in the decades to come ; and the series of synchronicities (or coincidences? 😅) that would take me down a path of Medicine Buddha & a Green Tara thangka lol. I converted completely to Mahayana Buddhism over 10 years ago now 🖤☸️🕉️🪷

@@proximacentury1110very much no. Mahayana is still very close to Theravada with the only difference of delaying enlightenment with the goal to become a Buddha. Mahayana still follows all the original teachings of the Buddha, but also uses the heart sutra. Buddhism and Hinduism are very similar but have very very big differences, such as the fact Buddhists don’t believe in a self, an eternal soul, or a creator god. Buddhists also believe in the middle way and reject any idea of a “shortcut” to enlightenment or Buddhahood, which would make Vajrayana the closest to Hinduism but also directly in conflict with the teachings of the Buddha.

Sometimes it seems to me that Vajrayan has adopted the teachings of the Shaivite kapalika sect. It may be possible that the Buddhists took education from the Kapalikas and turned against the Kapalika Shaivism but adopted the deities. By occupying the Kapalik monasteries, he tried to teach Buddhism to the Kapalik followers, but he himself adopted their tantric rituals and teachings.Whatever may be said, there seems to be some relation between Vajrayana and Kapaliko. Because there are many Hindu deities in Vajrayana. And even after reading the story of Trilokiteshwar / Vajrapani and Umma Maheshwar, I see some truth in my guess.
