This guys voice is straight out of Motor Week. Same inflections - which is weird but kind of groovy at the same time. I guess that's just the style of voice when talking retro cars?

Prettiest one of these classics I saw back in the late 70's in a Hot Rod magazine [cant remember which one]. It was a fantastic paint job that went from an "orangy-yellow" at the front of the car and perfectly blended to an "orangy-red" at the rear. It was both stunning and flawless. But thats not what got my then teenage heart aflutter... on top of the 351 he had a polished dual quad tunnel ram intake sticking up out of the back deck, high enough that it had a reversed Hillborn style aluminum air scoop that was above the roof line. Add in a set of wipe meats on the rear and it to me was a perfect mix of "Pantera meets Pomona" . I wish I still had a copy of those photos, it was almost perfection in my eyes. I knew I'd never be able to own such a creature, that was for sure.

I have a 1960. Everything on the dash has to be backwards in order for it to appear correctly in the mirror. The other cool thing is that other dial on the dash. You turn the dial to 60 and if you exceed that speed a buzzer will go off. Pre cruise control innovation

Not to correct the owner of this great car, but the 5-speed transaxle is actually from the German company ZF which was a version of the ZF 5 DS 25 used in the GT40.

I have an original 66 Fairlane 500 XL. Handed down from my parents. She does need work for sure but it’s great to get out to local car meets in her. What is this airbag & fan set up you mention?? I’d like to find something like this as I do get heavy condensation in shop floor

I recently saw a Henry J at a car show in Daytona Beach, Florida. It was in rough shape, and it was not nearly as nice as the one in this video. Whenever Brian drives his Henry J, I am sure he has some fond memories of his father.

My Dad in January 1988 went to the Local Ford,/Lincoln/Mercury Dealer to upgrade from his Grand Marquis to Finally Buying a Lincoln Town Car as a Retirement Gift to Himself. As Dad & Mom entered Showroom a Salesman who Saw them Drive in with their 2 Tone Mercury Gray over Blue Said to my Parents I Have the Exact Vehicle Your Looking For. My Dad Wondering, Said Ok Show us. The Salesman walked my Parents outside & walked them to the Truck Section & Tucked away in the Farthest Corner was a Leftover 1987 F150 XLT LARIAT 4 x 4. My Parents Looked at each other kinda Stunned & then understood Why they where showed that Particular Truck. It was the Exact Same 2 Tone Color as the Mercury, Just Reversed. My Dad instantly fell in Love. It had every single option available & is why it had been sitting on the Lot since Late 1986. My Mom was all in cause at $15.000 it was half the Price of a Town Car. Wen the Truck came home it just got into the garage & my Dad Treated it as a Town Car. Dad now in his 90s still has the Truck which Still in exceptional Condition & has just Reached 60.000 miles.

I had one that had an awful lot of rust. The radiator the gas line the gas tank around where the windshield met the top. It was only 12 years old. It seemed awfully excessive. Id heard the lincolns they did better with.
