The lord is our king

This goes back to the discussion of time. Gods declaration that " their days shall be 120 years " in Genesis 6 seems to be brought into question by this womans life. However, as you say what literal measurement applies here. If God does not recognize time as we do how do we know what the current measurement of those 120 years is? It is certainly rare that anyone lives longer than 120 years but if someone does that doesn't prove God doesn't exist because Genesis 6 is proven false.

Said before I say it again if the big bang as science presents it did happen God made it happen. With that event God created the matter he would use to construct everything in the universe including us.

Congratulations guys on making number 52. I cant list all the things I have learned about walking the walk and growing my relationship with Christ. It was a blast being a guest as an individual and with our mens group. It was a great year for me. Getting rededicated to God and returning to church involvement is directly connected to this podcast and the work you guys do. I cant wait to see where we go in 2025. Thanks and God bless you both.

I think all of us have reacted irrationally in certain situations with anger that comes out of nowhere. Sometimes thats because of a perceived threat, sometimes its because all the anger we have suppressed over time comes out at once because we have not dealt with it. God gave us all of our emotions because they are necessary and of course like anything else we have to constantly monitor them and how we react to them. Some times we fail.

Numbers have great symbolic emphasis in the bible in both positive and negative ways. The number 3 in hebrew is shelosh or shelosha it symbolizes it means harmony completeness and new life. It is used 467 times in the bible only 7 is used more. Three is indicative of the trinity and the ressurection. In jewish culture saying something 3 times give it more power thus the frequent occurence of holy holy holy, as well as telling peter 3 times feed my sheep. Jesus prayed 3 times in the garden of gethsamine. On the negative side there is the unholy trinity of lucifer the antichrist and the false prophet. The number 666 is 3 6 times which has significance of its own.

Good day gents. Lots of stuff going on in this one. Passing on Dennis the menace? Cool. In my younger days he was only in the funny papers along with charlie brown, my favorite drunk Andy Capp and of course Dick Tracy. It was the 3 stooges before school, which I made a point of introducing my grandkids to, and leave it to beaver in the afternoon. My cartoons were of course Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Foghorn Leghorn and Yosemite Sam as well as The Roadrunner and Speedy Gonzalez all those guys. I had no concept of what video games would be like. It was Monopoly and Sorry or Parchese and checkers, yeah. I would have killed for something like Techmo Bowl! As to the rest. As a person from the counseling field I found it somewhat sad that people would only trust there therapist with there problems. Someone told me once that we all wear a mask to hide who we really are and what we really feel or are going through. I guess thats why we so badly need a best friend or significant other that we can trust with those issues. Ultimately God is our ultimate confidant, Jesus our closest comforter. We are sad and broken and hurting and only following and implementing Christ and his teachings can we help others and heal ourselves.

Means stop refining it.
