They were all very loyal to Family Ties. It's what made them all star's. Great show and chemistry among the actor's.

Dont make stars like this anymore. The look. The voice. The body. Everything. I know Disney basically traumatized these kids in the 90s but they knew how to create stars 😂

My childhood was unhappy. I loved this show. It gave me hope, but I didn’t that at the time. Now 40+ years later I tear up every time I hear the theme song. The Keatons were the best parents ever! ❤

You’ve gotta love this Show. The Cast: Both Michael’s, Tina Yothers, Merideth B. Birney, and Justine Bateman. They were all Great! And of course some of the Special Guest as well like: Tom Hanks and Judith Light. “And Boy! That theme song, song by: Johnny Mathis and Denise Williams. I hated to see them go. And so did Michael J. Fox poor baby! He and Mrs. Birney. But thank God! For reruns Huh?!.. 😉👏🏾❤️

I watched this final episode when it aired and remember crying so hard when Michael J. Fox and Meredith became emotional. There never has been a show like this since.

This show turned out so much better than probably anyone could’ve dreamed. There were many funny moments, of course, but one of the best was the two-part episode when Alex‘s friend dies, and he does a monologue in a psychiatrist office. I think it was called a is for Alex.

Man, I'm teary-eyed... Who am I kidding? I just cried. I began to watch Family Ties in February 2023 and finished today. The Keaton family became my family. Nick, Skippy & every single character made a connection with me, you know. I've learnt so many things from these people. Watched the show bit by bit, just so that it doesn't become forgettable. I wouldn't have known that the last episode was gonna be so daunting. Goodbyes are difficult when they're with people you love so much. Loved watching this show from Australia growing up. A great show for the times. Apparently Ronald Reagan's favorite show during the 1980's. They don't make those quality TV shows anymore.

The finale was the first episode I watched when it first aired, other episodes I only saw in reruns. I still remember this curtain call and wasn’t too happy they cut it afterwards.

I don't know WHY that in the syndicated version, they would replace this with a generic closing. I think TV finales should be preserved just as they originally aired. Other sitcoms that ended with a curtain call, are, Mary Tyler Moore, The Bob Newhart Show and Newhart, The Cosby Show, and Full House.

never understood this show. obviously the ratings slipped cuz they kept adding new blood to the show to spice things up. or what became known as the "Oliver Syndrome". Its kind of like The Cosby Show. first season they had 4 children. by the end of the show somehow they had 8 and 3 grand children.
