It's easy, the hard or complex in sea power is manage larger groups of basically everything (naval, air and ground forces) and scripts the missions like in DCS, plus the range and capabilities of each unit.

@ahnafahmed9545 Well, the Su-34 Platypus uses a fighter chassis that has been repurposed for attack/strike missions as well. It carries a full striker bomber load though, but it has 3D thrust vectoring, so yeah, it can dodge like a fighter even though it's a fat Flanker.

Pilot's experience, the su-34 pilot is an experienced pilot with that exact jet, while the ukranian pilot even if he has experience the f16 still a new plateform for him and won t have the requiered reflexes to master it

F-16 was over Baghdad, Su-34 was over Russian controlled airspace, can you even imagine a su-34 getting anywhere near kyiv?

@@10.huynhphathuy8 a simple google search and you can see that is not true, iraq had a very large layered IADS, and my point was that F-16s shot down in Iraq were over some of the most defended air space in the world while Su-34 launching glide bombs isn’t even safe over Russian held territory

@@moonbear2130 iraq had only old soviet AA systems like s-75, s-125. And some new AA systems like Osa, Kvadrat and Roland. Iraq did not have any modern and long-range systems at that time.

Now do you dodge a missile like a mim-104 at high altitude? that seems like an unlikely method especially if your relying on g overload of a modern missile system designed to intercept much smaller and faster targets.

There's no bombs on the Su-34 i used on the video for that reason. The 'thing' you probably saw is two S-8 empty rocket launchers that i assume they can carried (and i dropped aswell, but is w.i.p.)

I will do it, was testing on this one. Keep in mind that the full audio of the event is about 4 minutes long and today few people watch longer videos, and the Patriot system in DCS its extremely lethal (or can be easely destroyed flying really low) so gonna need several shots to make the missile loss his energy and stop radar lock. Thanks for your opinion, i will open the full lenght version with your suggestion.

Not really win win, 3 expensive Patriot missiles were lost and Su-34 and its pilots live for another. The bombs it had to jettison are not that expensive compared to patriot missiles

not really.. normally, when you fire a patriot, it's so that it hits. if it doesn't hit, it's $3,300,000 wasted. in this case 3 missiles were fired, if we take the figures, that's - $9,900,000 for ukraine, and - 9,400 tons of fuel and 2 or 4 low cost bombs for russia. ukraine is the loser on this one.

Who knows what destruction those Patriots did when they self destructed so low to the ground... Not like Zel and his nato pals care about Ukrainians that much tho...

You're correct. Patriot by radar. But there's no footage (only audio) or much data of the incident, so i improvised and add flares for dramatic purproses (but if you ask me in that situation i will drop anything to avoid the patriots lol)

Patriots have no trouble reaching the altitude of basically anything and will have plenty of energy left over to hit it. Dragging the missile lower forces it to fly through denser air where drag slows it more and the aircraft is able to maneuver better

Please there's no need to insult. Yep, this event shows how close to the battle lines hidden or not, the SAMS are.
