9/29/24 Intro: Why am I keep coming back to X? Facts: - The reason why I have low standards is not because I don't know that there exists a higher standard. - Waking yourself up from seeing others doing things has it's severe limits. It's a temporary solution to a deeper problem. - What you need is to develop higher standard. Question - Does X help me get to that higher standards? Answer - It may sometimes feel that way when you are really in the deep end. But short term information always has it's limits. You've had this cycle since june. Problem: - Everything is a function of standards. I simply have low standard. - Company fears isolation - silos. Company values communication. This is a simple equation of ensuring that the individuals that are part of the system upholds the minimum standard of the system without falling into their individual standard. - Hence is the reason why there are daily, weekly tag ups. If the system trusted the individual, there would be no enforced tag ups. The structure were constructed because the system deem more likely than not for the individuals to fall below the standard of the system. - You would expect a company to hire individuals that possessed standards above the company. But if you follow the train of logic, you are either an individual with standard below the system or you are an individual who has standard above the system which than it is more likely than not, you would be the one in position to create the system. - The argument is that most likely than not, your standards are below the system hence you have structured meetings. Take away: - Hence the goal is for myself to increase the level of my standard beyond the system - whichever that system may be at the moment that you are currently participating in. Note: - If you believe that your standard is above the system in which you are part of and you are happy - there is no reason for you to change anything. This is also none permanent. - If you aren't happy or there seems to be a clear barrier of entry that exists between where you currently are vs where you desire to be, you simply are in need of having to increase the standard above the system. - If the reality does not seem to reflect with your belief of reality, there are things to think about. 1. What system am I currently part of. 2. What are the context of that system - what are the contextual significance or insignificance. 3. Recognize the standard gap between what the system requires and how you as an individual operate at. 4. Be patient and slowly work towards increasing your standards in gratefulness.
7/26/24 - near the end of my tesla internship around november of 2023 I came to an epiphany. I realized everything is about these 3 thing - 1) problem identification 2) problem urgency 3) problem solving framework. What I've done these past 8 months since the realization of this has been simply cracking point 3 - problem solving framework. I learned how to learn when I want to get good at things. Learning how to learn. I have faith in my problem solving framework. I have faith that If I lean into my principles I can be great at things fast. I am ready to trust my framework of problem solving. Lean into it this framework of yours and you can surely grow.
