Decided to delve a little bit into Ume in this au. Especially since in canon, she was a sex worker/courtesan at only 13.

Ume still stabs the Samurai's eye out for insulting her brother, but in this universe, Gyutaro and Ume ran away before the Samurai could enact his revenge. Douma took them in and trained them to be demon slayers, where Ume took up Flower Breathing and Gyutaro took up Insect Breathing (a style that had been cultivated by a former Hashira) before modifying it to suit the normal Nichirin sword.
